    Abstract: PURPOSE: A sensing module and a GUI(Graphic User Interface) control apparatus and a method thereof are provided to closely sense hand movements in a sensing area, thereby supplying a interface for various GUI controls. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensor(320) collects information about hand movements by sensing a reflection light, which is a light of an optical emitting unit(310) is reflected to hands. A first optical fiber(311) connects one side with the optical emitting unit and exposes the other side to the outside of the one side and totally reflects the light of the optical emitting unit, and then emits it to the outside of the one side.
