Abstract: PURPOSE: An unmanned monitor system for fast traveling vehicles is provided to output fast still images and moving images by monitoring fast traveling vehicles on a road and to search stolen vehicles. CONSTITUTION: In an unmanned monitor system for fast traveling vehicles, a vehicle number signal transmitter(5) is mounted on a vehicle to transmit vehicle number data. A transmission inducer(7) generates a command to transmit the vehicle number data by operating the vehicle number signal transmitter. A vehicle number signal receiver(6) receives the transmitted signal of the vehicle number signal transmitter. A moving image camera(4) obtains the number of each fast traveling vehicle and photographs a moving image thereof during a specific time. An image data device saves/plays back the photographed image data of the camera and a vehicle number DB(database,8) saves the vehicle number of stolen vehicles. A stolen vehicle search system(9) compares the received vehicle number with the data saved in the vehicle number DB. The search system displays the vehicle as a stolen one and saves the moving image data by photographing the stolen vehicle if the vehicle number DB includes the received vehicle number.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) with camera functions is provided to enable a user to capture desired images by supplementing PDA with camera functions and to identify the user's identity through iris identification or fingerprint identification by using image sensors. CONSTITUTION: A PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) with camera functions is composed of filming, input, storage, and identification. A user films a desired image through an image sensor(20) and a key input department(10). The filmed image is inputted to a camera controller(20) and processed by it. A CPU(40) controls input and procession operations of the key input department and the camera controller and the inputted and processed visual image is stored in a data storage(60). The CPU can also store the visual data in a detachable memory stick(70) that possesses four or eight M bytes of memory space. An image sensor(30) also executes user identification function through iris identification and fingerprint identification of a close-up filming. A display(50) displays operation status and result in accordance to the CPU's control. The charged battery provides power for an operation(80) and it connects to an external recharger and replenishes electricity through a lower charge terminal(81).
