Abstract: 본 발명은 차량의 연료 소모량 산출 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 차량에 적재된 하중을 측정하는 하중 센서를 설치하여 하중 정보를 획득하고, 차량의 OBD-2 인터페이스로부터 차량 주행 정보를 획득하여, 실시간으로 차량의 현재 연료 소모량과 하중에 의해 낭비되는 연료량을 계산하여 운전자에게 표시한다. 즉, 본 발명의 일면에 따른 차량의 실시간 연료 소모량 산출 장치는, 차량의 트렁크에 적재된 하중을 측정할 수 있는 하중 센서; 상기 하중 센서에 의해 측정된 하중 정보와 상기 차량의 OBD-2 인터페이스로부터 제공되는 차량 주행 정보를 수신하는 수신부; 상기 하중 정보와 상기 차량 주행 정보를 기반으로 상기 차량의 현재 연료 소모량과 상기 하중에 의한 연료 낭비량을 계산하는 연산부; 및 상기 현재 연료 소모량과 상기 연료 낭비량을 운전자에게 표시하는 표시부를 포함하여 이루어진다.
