Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for performing wireless communication using plane and linear antenna arrays is provided to estimate a moving parameter of a moving object at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(14) creates a mixed signal by mixing a received reflection signal through a reception antenna selecting unit and a transmitting signal. The receiver coverts the mixed signal into a digital signal. A controller(17) forms beam about the converted mixed signal. The controller estimates a moving parameter about the moving object.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for generating preamble and an apparatus and a method for detecting a channel response are provided to reduce hardware and a processing time by generating the preamble by using an interpolator and detecting the channel response by using a decimator. A sequence generation part generates a frequency sequence including a plurality of factors in a frequency domain(S110). An IDFT operating part performs an IDFT(Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform) of the frequency sequence generated by the sequence generation part and produces the inverse Fourier transform signal(S120). A protective interval insertion part inserts the protective interval into the inverse Fourier transform signal and produces the protective interval insertion signal(S130). An interpolator performs the interpolation of the protective interval insertion signal and produces an RA preamble(S140). The frequency band of the RA preamble which the interpolator produces is positioned in the base band. A frequency hopping part produces frequency hopped RA preamble by moving the RA preamble of the base band to the frequency band to be transmitted(S150). A transmission part transmits the frequency-hopped RA preamble which the frequency hopping part produces to the channel response detecting device through the channel(S160).

Abstract: A receiver and a method for detecting random access preambles in a mobile communication system are provided to make it possible to detect the random access preambles in one preamble sequence and repeatable for each repeated preamble sequence, for each receiving antenna or for each receiving path. A method for detecting random access preambles in a mobile communication system includes the following several steps. A CP(Cyclic Prefix) eliminator eliminates CPs included at signals received from plural receiving antennas(S100,S110). The first DFT operator converts the received signals into frequency domain signals(S120) and a subcarrier demapping unit extracts one preamble and repeated preamble(S130). Multiplication operators multiply the extracted preambles by complex conjugate(S140). An IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) operator converts the outputs of the multiplication operators into time domain signals(S150). Power calculation units calculate power by using the converted signals(S160). A non-coherent combining unit adds plural interrelation power values into one interrelation power information(S170). A peak detector detects the largest power value(S180). The peak detector compares the detected largest power value with a preset reference(S190). If the detected largest power value is larger than the preset reference, the peak detector outputs time offset information matched with the largest power value, and preamble sequence information of a detector engine which detected the preambles with respect to a power value(S200). In case the detected largest power value is smaller than the preset reference, any other information is not outputted(S210).

Abstract: A random access channel allocation method for a scalable bandwidth and a random access method and apparatus are provided to map to time and frequency resources of a random access channel. A terminal compares a reception bandwidth of a base station and a transmission bandwidth of the terminal(S710). Abstract: A receiving apparatus of a SC-FDMA(Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access) communication system is provided to realize an SBF(Switched Beam Former) in real-time by simplifying the structure of the SBF and reducing complexity. A receiving apparatus of a SC-FDMA communication system includes a preprocessing unit(230). 본 발명에 의하면, LTE가 적용된 OFDM 시스템에서 다수의 안테나를 포함하는 이동국을 이용하여 RACH 버스트 및 사용자 패킷 데이터를 전송하므로, 높은 대역폭 및 전송 속도를 통한 데이터 전송이 가능하며, 데이터 전송시 발생할 수 있는 딥 페이 구간을 줄임으로써, 통화 단절 방지 및 데이터 전송 성능 향상의 효과를 기대할 수 있다.
