PURPOSE: A data transmission and reception apparatus and method thereof are provided to rapidly and stably transmit and receive massive data using a beam forming method according to an MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) method in a communication system. CONSTITUTION: A transmission unit(840) transmits an NDPA(Null Data Packet Announcement) frame and an NDP(Null Data Packet) frame to a terminal for obtaining the channel information of a terminal for transmitting and receiving data using a beam forming method according to an MIMO method. A reception unit(810) receives a beam forming frame from the terminal by responding to the NDPA frame and the NDP frame. A confirmation unit(820) confirms direction information for the normal reception of the NDP frame. The NDP frame includes the control information filed of the beam forming frame. PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting/receiving data in a communication system are provided to improve data throughput and data error rates by normally transmitting and receiving large capacity data. CONSTITUTION: A multiuser data packet is composed of MPDU(MAC Protocol Data Unit) subframes corresponding to a plurality of users, respectively. The multiuser data packet includes an A-MPDU subframe 1(310) and an A-MPSU(Aggregated-MPDU) subframe n(315). The multiuser data packet includes an A-MPDU Null subframe 1(320) and an A-MPDU Null subframe n(325), an EOF(End Of Frame) pad(330), a PHY(Physical) pad(335), and an addition symbol(340) of a 1 symbol. A PSDU length(PSDU LENGTH)(300) becomes the A-MPDU subframes, the A-MPDU Null subframes, and the EOF pad. The A-MPDU Null subframes and the EOF pad are becomes a MAC pad.

PURPOSE: A data transceiving method in a radio packet communication system communicating with a plurality of terminals at the same time is provided to prevent the generation of a receive disable region in case one terminal transmits and receives data with the plurality of terminals through a plurality of communication paths. CONSTITUTION: The length information of a signal field(501) indicates the length of the longest data frame 3(504). A terminal 2 and a terminal 3 receive a data frame 2(503) and the data frame 3 with the length information of the signal field. After the terminal 2 and the terminal 3 wait as a predetermined SIFS(Short Inter Frame Space)(521), the terminal 2 and the terminal 3 transmit response signals(511,512) corresponding to each data frame.

PURPOSE: A method for setting a transmitting right in a wireless LAN system using a multi channel and a method for transceiving data are provided to guarantee compatibility without respect to a wireless LAN mode. CONSTITUTION: An RTS(Request To Send) frame including wireless LAN mode information of a wireless terminal is received from the wireless terminal(S201). A CTS(Clear To Send) frame is transmitted to the wireless terminal according to at least one among the number of residual available channels among multi channels and wireless LAND modes of the wireless terminal(S203). The wireless LAN mode of the wireless terminal is a general mode. When the number of a residual available channels is one, a CTS frame is transmitted to the wireless terminal.

PURPOSE: A method for controlling medium access in a wireless LAN system using multi channels is provided to supply a service with high capacity to wireless terminals. CONSTITUTION: The size of a data frame is determined for wireless terminals accessed through a multi channel(S201). The number of data frames or the length of a data frame for the wireless terminals are controlled so that a transmission time or an ending time of the data frame become the same during a transmission period of an access point using the determined result(S203). The data frame whose number or length are controlled is transmitted to the wireless terminals(S205).

CONSTITUTION: A confirming unit(110) receives channel information and base station information from a system. The confirming unit confirms the number of available channels in the system. The confirming unit confirms the number of base stations from the base station information and the bandwidth of the channels where the base stations request allocation. The confirming unit confirms the number of base stations from the base station information and the bandwidths. An allocating unit allocates one or more channels to one base station. A generating unit transmits allocation information corresponding to the channel allocation to the base stations.

A method and an apparatus for control medium access for processing data at high speed are provided to perform a high speed packet data reception process by reading the data corresponding to the data information stored according the sequence of a memory address. A medium access control device(100) includes a packet reception processor(110), a data multiprocessor(120), and a data arranging unit(130). The packet reception processor receives and processes the packet data delivered from a physical layer and extracts the data information. The data multiprocessor multiplies the extracted data according to the reception sequence and stores the data in a first memory. The data arranging unit arranges the stored data in a serial sequence by using the data memory address with the data and the extracted data information. The data arranging unit stores the data information in a second memory by using a descriptor.

An effective bit calculating method used with a soft-decision decoding apparatus for improving performance while reducing the implementation complexity in a multi input multi output system and a method thereof in a multi input multi output system and a method thereof are provided to maximize channel decoding performance. One or more multiplier multiplies the soft demapper signal according to a modulation mode by the size shape value of the null matrix vectors outputted from the detector. An effective bit calculator(302) deletes a part of the lower bit about the output bit of the multiplication method and extracts the effective bit. The effective bit calculating unit compares the absolute value and threshold value of the rest bit. According to the comparison result, the definite value is set up as the upper bit or rounds in the number corresponding to the specific bit.
