PURPOSE: An MBS service system and a method thereof which performs channel allocation are provided to allocate an MCID to various MBS services in consideration of quality of a service flow on wireless WiMAX network. CONSTITUTION: An ASN gateway(120) offers an MCID(Multicast Connection IDentification) to a terminal(110). An MBS(Multicast and Broadcast Service) control server(140) supplies MBS channel information and service profile information to the terminal. A channel allocating server(150) allocates one or more service classes according to QoS(Quality of Service). The channel allocating server sets up the MCID to the terminal.

PURPOSE: A dynamic MBS range setting method for supplying a mobile IPTV service is provided to prevent unnecessary multicast and broadcast traffic from being transmitted to a plurality of base stations for reducing handover delay. CONSTITUTION: A base station sets up an MBS(Multicast and Broadcast Service) area(600). The base station configures a cell where a mobile terminal is located. BSs(Base Stations) allocates an MBS channel according to movement of the mobile terminal. An adjacent BS sets up the MBS area(610). 본 발명은 코드 분할 다중 접속 셀룰러 이동통신 시스템에서 소프트 핸드오프시의 순방향 링크 전력 제어 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 종래에는 소프트 핸드오프 동안의 순방향 링크 전력 제어를 위하여, 이동국이 정상 상태인 경우에 기지국으로부터 수신한 순방향 링크의 신호를 각 지기국별로 동일하게 보고하고 기지국은 이동국으로부터 받은 정보를 토대로 현재 통화중인 이동국들과 연결된 모든 기지국들의 순방향 트래픽 채널의 송신 전력을 동일한 형태로 증가 또는 감소시키는 방법을 사용하였다. 그러나 이와 같은 방법으로 순방향 링크 전력 제어를 수행하면 순방향 링크가 양호한 상태인 기지국들의 순방향 트래픽 채널의 송신 전력도 증가시키게 되어 순방향 링크 용량이 감소되는 문제점이 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 소프트 핸드오프시 기지국들에서 전송하는 순방향 트래픽 채널의 신호를 이동국이 측정하여 해당 기지국별로 구분된 전력 증감을 요구하고 기지국은 순방향 링크의 상태에 따라 해당 트래픽 채널의 송신 전력을 조절하므로써 순방향 링크 용량을 증가시킬 수 있는 코드 분할 다중 접속 셀룰러 이동통신 시스템에서 소프트 핸드오프시의 순방향 링크 전력 제어 방법 및 장치가 제시된다.
