    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for adaptively adjusting receiver operation for e.g., power optimization. In one embodiment, operation during diversity operation is adaptively adjusted. Diversity techniques consume significantly more power than non-diversity operation. However, the performance gain from receiver diversity is not always predictable. Consequently, in one embodiment, a device evaluates the overall performance gain contributed by diversity operation and, where the performance gain is insignificant or inadequate, the device disables diversity operation. In one implementation, the device can operate in a static single antenna mode, a dynamic single antenna mode and a dynamic multiple antenna mode.

The operations include generating configured grant uplink control information (CG-UCI), generating hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information, generating channel state information (CSI) and mapping the CG-UCI, HARQ-ACK, and CSI to resource elements (REs) in resource blocks (RBs) of a configured grant physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission, wherein the PUSCH transmission includes a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and wherein the mapping includes mapping a concatenated bit sequence, concatenating the CG-UCI bits and the HARQ-ACK bits to form the concatenated bit sequence wherein bits of CG-UCI precede bits of the HARQ-ACK in the concatenated bit sequence, encoding the concatenated bit sequence, and attaching a cyclic redundancy check, CRC, wherein the concatenating the CG-UCI bits and the HARQ-ACK bits occurs prior to the encoding and the attaching.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing downlink signal reception with antenna panel switching in a wireless communication system. A cellular base station may receive an indication of an antenna panel activation delay from a wireless device. The cellular base station may select a scheduling offset for a transmission to the wireless device based at least in part on the antenna panel activation delay. The scheduling offset may be selected to be at least the length of the antenna panel activation delay if it is expected that the wireless device may perform antenna panel activation to receive the transmission. The cellular base station may schedule the transmission to the wireless device using the selected scheduling offset, and may perform the transmission to the wireless device at the selected scheduling offset after scheduling the transmission to the wireless device.
