SOLUTION: A rubber compsn. comprises a blend of 100 pts.wt. of a natural rubber or a diene-based synthetic rubber and 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a hydrocarbon- based wax; said hydrocarbon-based wax has a componential compsn. comprising 30-65 totaled wt.% of a 29-39C nonlinear component and a 28-36C linear component at a componential ratio of the former to the latter of 20-55 wt.%, 7-30 totaled wt.% of 20-25C linear and nonlinear components, 15-35 totaled wt.% of a 38-53C linear component and a 42-51C nonlinear component, and 60 totaled wt.% or less of a 32-46C linear component and a 38-46C nonlinear component. A pneumatic tire uses this rubber compsn. as the outer skin parts material.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve side cutting resistance to prevent a tire trouble resulting from side cutting by using a vulcanized tire rubber having a specific viscosity of cis-1,4-polybutadiene and a specific content of syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene. CONSTITUTION:The title tire is made of a vulcanized rubber composition in which the Money viscosity of cis-1,4-polybutadiene is 25-80, the viscosity of a solution thereof in toluene is 50 or higher, and the content of syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene is 5-20%. The composition preferably contains 20-80 pts.wt. natural rubber per 100 pts.wt. all rubbers and preferably contains 35-80 pts.wt. carbon black. This tire is particularly improved in the cutting resistance of the side-reinforcing layers. It also retains high performances with respect to flexing resistance, creep resistance, high-temp. properties, and production efficiency.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a car wheel wherein a lubricating layer which has compatibly the lubricativeness, the retaining performance to the inside of the crown part, and the fire retardance is furnished on the inner surface of the crown part, by providing a ring-shaped lubricant layer wider than the outside surface of a core assembly on the inner surface of the crown part, and forming lubricant layer from a silicone compound having a specific value of mixing consistency. CONSTITUTION:When a penumatic tire 5 is crushed by drop of the internal pressure, the radial direction outside surface of a ring-shaped core assembly 11, which is fitted on a rim 1 where the tire 5 is mounted, comes in contact with the inner surface of the crown part 8 of the tire 5, which is thus held. On the inner surface of the crown part 8 of this tire 5, a ring-shaped lubricating layer 10 is provided which is wider than the radial direction outside surface of the core assembly 11. The lubricating layer 10 consists of a silicone compound prepared by mixing metal oxide with dimethyl silicone oil and/or methyl fenyl silicone oil, and the mixing consistency (JIS K 2220) of the compound is made over 200.

Consequently the spreading fire of vehicle fire or vehicle fire itself can be prevented by providing nonignitability or self-extinguishing when a tire is punctured to make the inner liner 1 to be rubbed becoming powder and resulting in the ignition of the powder, or when a vehicle travels in a run-flat condition and a hole is caused in the side wall 2 to blow flame in the inside of a tire.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide excellent delayed combustibility and self-extinguishing property without impairing required basic characteristics by arranging on the outside of a rubber layer a flame-resisting rubber compound whose oxygen index value is within a specific range as the outer skin rubber part that occupies more than a specific weight percentage out of the tread rubber layer. CONSTITUTION:An outer skin part is made up of a tread rubber layer 2, and a side rubber layer 3 that is joined to this rubber layer and is extended to the vicinity of a bead core 8, and a reinforcing part such as a carcass 4 is formed on the inside of this outer skin part. To cope with various factors of tire fire, the layer L of the fire-resisting rubber compound that is arranged on the outside so as to occupy at least 20% by weight out of the tread rubber layer 2 is specified to have an oxygen index value of 19.8 or more and 27.5 or less. Thus, without impairing basic characteristics such as separation resistance, and crack resistance that are required for tires to be used for electric vehicles and aircrafts, an excellent effect on self-extinguishing property and delayed combustibility can be provided.
