    Abstract: La presente comprende un método de retroalimentacion estadística para la fasciculacion de transmision de transmision y recepcion multiples (MIMO) que comprende la combinacion de informacion del estado del canal y estadística de largo plazo en la derivacion de la matriz de precodificacion. Al menos se observa un parámetro que se puede medir, y se determina un factor despreciable en funcion del parámetro observado.

    Abstract: Se describe un método y un sistema para implementar técnicas de multiples entradas multiples salidas (MIMO por sus siglas en inglés) virtuales de multi-usuarios para unidades inalámbricas de transmision/recepcion (WTRUs por sus siglas en inglés) que tienen una o más antenas. El sistema incluye una estacion de base y por lo menos una WTRU que tiene por lo menos dos antenas. El numero de antenas de la estacion de base no es menor que el numero de antenas de cualquiera de las WTRUs. La estacion de base genera una matriz de canales para las WTRUs y procesa las senales recibidas desde las WTRUs en base a una medicion de la matriz de canales. Las WTRUs pueden realizar pre-codificacion de transmision o formacion de haces propios usando la informacion de la matriz de canales. Las WTRUs también pueden realizar diversidad de transmision.

    Abstract: A combined open loop and closed loop (channel quality indicator (CQI)-based) transmit power control (TPC) scheme with interference mitigation for a long term evolution (LTE) wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is disclosed. The transmit power of the WTRU is derived based on a target signal-to-interference noise ratio (SINR) and a pathloss value. The pathloss value pertains to the downlink signal from a serving evolved Node-B (eNodeB) and includes shadowing. An interference and noise value of the serving eNodeB is included in the transmit power derivation, along with an offset constant value to adjust for downlink (DL) reference signal power and actual transmit power. A weighting factor is also used based on the availability of CQI feedback.
