    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a compressor prevented from the generation of noise and the lowering of performance caused by the abnormal vibration of refrigerant gas by forming at least two partition plates into different length from each other, thereby forming at least two suction passages into different length from each other. CONSTITUTION:Inside a suction muffler 37, there are provided a small suction space 41 and suction passages 45a, 45b, 45c, 45d formed by three partition plates 44a, 44b, 44c, and the suction passages, the small open space 41 and a suction pipe 38 are communicated with one another. Three partition plates are provided with respectively different lengths. Accordingly, the effect of pulse fluctuation caused by the microscopic suction/stop of sucked refrigerant gas passes selectively at least more than two suction passages in the suction muffler 37, so that the suction passages are kept from having always the fixed characteristic frequency mode. This prevents the nonconformity between the refrigerant gas pulse fluctuation mode and the suction passage characteristic mode in all suction passages, and thereby prevents the generation of noise and the sudden lowering of performance caused by the abnormal vibration of the refrigerant gas.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To get rid of the occurrence of a foreign sound of a specific frequency, by making the passage cross sectional area of a suction passage gradually smaller toward an end portion (a suck-in opening) located in the vicinity of a suction pipe from an end portion connected to a suction small space, and reducing the pulsation of gas. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 21 starts operation, gas discharged from this is led to a suction small space 31 through the connection pipe portion of a suction muffler 25 via a suction tube 30 and a spring 29a from a refrigera tion cycle, and passes through a suction passage 32 which is partitioned by means of two partition plates 33, 33a, as suction and stoppage are being repeated microscopically by means of the reciprocating movements of a piston 24a. The cross sectional area of the passage 32 is gradually reduced toward a suck-in opening 34, so sucked gas moves toward the opening 34 with its suc tion speed becoming gradually faster. As a result, gas is unlikely to have a specific frequency, and in addition, a flow speed is quick at the opening 34 and no vortex is generated, and gas is sucked into the suction hole 28 of a valve plate 27 through a suction pipe 26 from the opening 34.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of abnormal abrasion of sliding parts and abnormal sound at a starting time by fixing a coil spring smaller in a nominal diameter than the crankshaft main spindle at the crankshaft small diameter part, thereby heightening oil feeding capacity in a space between the small diameter part and a bearing. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil 7 sucked at an oil feeding mechanism 14 located below a crankshaft 8 by rotational centrifugal force passes through the oil feeding longitudinal hole 18 and the oil feeding lateral hole 19 of a crank part 9 and a crankshaft main spindle 11a and is fed to the sliding parts of the crankshaft main spindle 11a and a bearing 11. The oil then passes through a main spindle groove A diagonally cut into the surface of the crankshaft main spindle 11a and is fed into a space between the crankshaft small diameter part 11b and the bearing 11. The rising force is generated to the lubricating oil 7 accompanied by the rotation of a coil spring 17 wound around the crankshaft small diameter part 11b, and the lubricating oil 7 is fed to a thrust part 11c through the crankshaft main spindle 11a, the bearing 11 and a main spindle groove B21. As a result, abnormal abrasion caused by the lack of lubrication at a starting time and the generation of abnormal sound can be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce vibration and noise of a closed container by forming a projection having a semispherical surface on the stationary part of a discharge pipe in the closed container so that the vibration of the discharge pipe is damped by the projection in order to prevent the vibration of the discharge pipe from falling into a resonant mode of the closed container. CONSTITUTION:A motor 2 and a compressing element 3 are disposed in a closed container 1. A discharge pipe 6 which is connected to a compressing section 4 of the compressing element 3 through the intermediary of a discharge line 5 is arranged in a part of the closed container 1. Further, a stationary part of the discharge pipe 6 on the container 1 side is formed with a projection 7 having a semispherical surface. Vibration which is generated in the compressing section 4 is transmitted through the discharge line 5 to the discharge pipe 6 from which the vibration is then transmitted to the closed container through the projection 7. In this arrangement, the vibration of the discharge pipe 6 is damped by the projection 7 so as to prevent the vibration of the discharge pie 6 from falling in a resonant mode of the closed container 1. Thereby it is possible to reduce the vibration and noise of the closed container 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable stable oil supply and smooth operation with no input increase by providing a liquid surface smoothing plate such as an upper lid or the like for preventing oil surface from swelling on the upper surface of an oil supply auxiliary device fitted into a sealed casing. CONSTITUTION:Oil 16 also starts rotation as an oil pipe 11 does so. Oil 16 is stirred by centrifugal force caused by said rotation, so that the liquid surface 16'' of oil 16 rises and causes generation of bubbles and swell. However, a liquid surface smoothing plate 19 fitted to an oil supply auxiliary device 17 restrains the oil surface from rising phenomena as well as bubbling and swelling phenomena in order to maintain constantly stable oil surface. Also, this operation can sustain bubbling caused by foaming phenomena of refrigerant gas for starting.
