    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a highly efficient single-phase induction motor at low cost. CONSTITUTION:In a single-phase induction motor 11 comprising a main coil 12 and an auxiliary coil 13, a circuit 15 for changing capacitance of the capacitor is connected to the auxiliary coil 13 in series. The capacitance of the capacitor of the circuit 15 of the operating capacitor is controlled with a capacitance control part 18. In the circuit 15 for the operating capacitor, at least two or more circuits wherein an operating capacitor 16 and switches 17 and 17' are connected in series are connected in parallel. A signal is transmitted from an external temperature sensor 19 to the capacitance control part 18.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower temperature by forming a threaded hole at the outer surface of a bracket through different metal, layering earth terminals which are provided respectively with the threaded hole of the different metal, and fix them by bolting for the decreased heat conductivity of the earth terminal part. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 20 which is fixed at a sealed container 1 is provided with a threaded hole part 21, which is constituted of stainless steel 22 which is embedded by means of a helical insert process. Stainless steel 32 which is processed by means of the helical insert process is embedded in the threaded part 31 of an earth terminal 30. Therefore, the heat conductivity from the sealed container 1 to the earth terminal 30 is transmitted through the bracket 20, the stainless steel 22, a bolt 4, and the stainless steel 32, so it is possible to reduce a rise in the temperature of the earth terminal 32 because the heat conductivity can be decreased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower the overall height of a refrigerant compressor by arranging an insulating material which is given drawing between coils of an electric element and a metal part of a compression element. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material 10 which is given drawing is arranged between an electric element 2 elastically supported in a closed container 1 and a compression element 3 and coils 5 and 6 of the electric element 2 and a metal part 9 of the compression element 3. This insulating material 10 is a polyester film which is given drawing. As this polyester film 10 is given drawing, it has elasticity and the insulating material is not dislocated or removed during operation of a refrigerant compressor. In the compressor so constituted, the dimension of a clearance between the coil 5 of the electric element 2 and the metal part 9 of the compression element 3 should be only the thickness of the polyester 10. By this, the overall height of the compressor can be lowered than before.

SOLUTION: The rotor 16 for selection 1 for high torque of a single phase induction electric motor part 15 consists of a selection 1 rotor core 18. The selection 1 rotor cores 18 are laminated in a fitted-in state to form a selection 1 rotor electromagnetic steel plate 19. The slot 20 of the selection 1 rotor electromagnetic steel plate at which a secondary conductor is disposed is disposed between the adjoining selection 1 rotor electromagnetic steel plates 19. The 20n-th slot of the selection 1 rotor topmost part electromagnetic steel plate 19 is positioned above the 20n+second slot of the selection 1 rotor lowermost part electromagnetic steel plate 19 and formed in a specified shape regardless of the shape of the slot 20.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leaking current from a coil to a closed container by interposing an insulating material between a casing and a stator iron core as a motor- driven element and fastening and fixing the same in a compressor where the casing is provided in the closed container and a stator iron core of a motor- driven element is fastened and fixed. SOLUTION: In this hermetic motor-driven compressor, a casing 1 is stored in a closed container 1, and a stator iron core 5 of a motor-driven element is fastened and fixed to the casing 2 by a bolt 7. In this case, an insulating material 9 is interposed between the stator iron core 5 and the casing 2, and there three members are secured by fastening the bolt 7. By this arrangement, leaking current leaking from a coil leaks from the stator iron core 5 through the insulating material 9 to the casing 2, the spring 4 and the closed container 1, so that leaking current can be reduced. The leaking current is proportional to the voltage and the frequency, so that especially in the case of an inverter power supply containing high frequency, a leaking current value of the level equal to that in the case of using the conventional induction motor can be secured.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a clearance hard to be generated between a communicating tube and a cylinder head by providing a steel strip to bring the communicating tube inserted into the cylinder head into pressure contact with the cylinder head, and forming a pressure contact part to be brought into pressure contact by the steel strip of the communicating tube into a taper shape so as to become thick toward the cylinder head side. SOLUTION: A suction muffler of an enclosed motor-driven compressor is provided with a communicating tube 10 having a taper-shaped pressure contact part 10a so as to become thick toward the cylinder head 5 side inserted into an inserting hole 5c of a cylinder head 5 and a collar part 10b. When the communicating tube 10 is brought into pressure contact with the cylinder head 5 by a steel strip 8 through an oil capillary 7 by being connected to screws 9a and 9b, since the pressure contact part 10a is formed into a taper shape such as becoming thick toward the cylinder head 5 side, pressure contact force of the steel strip 8 acts toward the cylinder head 5 side through the pressure contact part 10a of the communicating tube 10. Therefore, a clearance is hardly generated between the communicating tube 10 and the cylinder head 5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the rate of temperature rise of an earth terminal by interposing a heat insulating material such as PBT between the earth terminal and a mounting bolt. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 2 secured to the sealed container 1 of a compressor is provided with a tapped hole 2a and an earth terminal 13 is mounted on the bracket 2 by means of a bolt 14. A heat insulating material 15 such as PBT is interposed between the earth terminal 13 and the bolt 14 and thereby the quantity of heat transferred from the mounting bolt 14 to the earth terminal 13 is reduced so that the rate of temperature rise of the earth terminal 13 can be reduced. Also, the mounting bolt 14 is made from stainless steel and thereby the quantity of heat transferred from the mounting bolt 14 is reduced so that the rate of temperature rise of the earth terminal 13 can be reduced. Further, the rate of temperature rise of the earth terminal 13 can be reduced also on the part of the bracket 2 by reducing the area of the tapped hole portion 2a of the bracket 2 in contact with the tapped hole projecting portion 13b of the earth terminal 13.

CONSTITUTION:The bracket 3 of a compressor body 1 covers electrical equipment 4 by a protector cover 5. A PTC thermal element 23 is formed integrally with an overload protecting device 16 by an adhesive 25, and the overload protecting device 16 is arranged close to the body 1 side so that the temperature of the body 1 can be sensed. Therefore, the heat of the PTC thermal element 23 can be sufficiently sensed, and the time from the operation to the return of the overload protecting device 16 can be maintained sufficiently long.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make common use of a press winding line when a single phase induction electric motor is manufactured by forming a stator electromagnetic steel plate of a single phase induction electric motor part housed in a sealed case in an external shape according to output, and forming a slot shape of the stator electromagnetic steel plate in a specific shape regardless of its external shape. SOLUTION: In a stator of a single phase induction electric motor part, a stator core formed by fitting and laiminating an almost rectangular stator electromagnetic steel plate 23, is provided as a main member, and a main winding and an auxiliary winding arranged in a 90 deg. position to the main winding, are wound round this. A large slot 26 in which the main winding is installed and a small slot 27 in which the auxiliary winding is installed, are formed in respective stator electromagnetic steel plates 23, but when a high output type sealed compressor is manufactured, a stator electromagnetic steel plate 32 by enlarging a shape of the stator electromagnetic steel plate 23 without changing a shape of the large slot 26 and the small slot 27 of the stator electromagnetic steel plate 23, is applied. Therefore, common use of a press winding line of the stator electromagnetic steel plate can be realized.
