Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the apparatus inexpensive and simple and widen its control range by storing the data corresponding to the values logarithmically extending the APEX value to the addresses indicated by the values corresponding to the APEX values of the exposure time having been set and reading out these thereby measuring the time. An exposure time setting circuit 7 is inputted with the correction APEX values having been stored by assigning the address in the ROM 2 based on the signals corresponding to the APEX values having been set or calculated or the correction APEX values directly calculated from the APEX values BV, SV, AV of the quantity of receiving light, film sensitivity and aperture value in the CPU 1. An input-output port 4 is the signal of the accumulator 16 of the CPU 1 and when its terminals (a), (b) become ''H'' respectively, the shutter opening operation control circuit 5 and shutter closing operation control circuit 6 of the camera actuate.
