Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-voltage type optical modulator, having a symmetric structure in which the polarization of any one of branched waveguides formed on a substrate is inverted, and the two branched waveguides are simultaneously controlled by a center electrode formed on a top portion thereof, thereby ensuring a low-voltage drive and embodying the characteristics of there being no signal distortions due to chirping. SOLUTION: The modulator comprises: a substrate; an optical waveguide composed of an input portion, a pair of first and second portions branch portions branched off from the input portion, and an output portion where the first and second branch portions are coupled, all of which are formed inwardly on the top surface of the substrate; a polarization inversion region, polarized and inverted by a region of the substrate on the basis of between the first and second branch portions; first to third recessed grooves formed, by etching the portions of the substrate adjacent to sides of the first and second branch portions of the optical waveguide; a buffer layer formed on the top surface of the substrate; a center electrode, formed on a top surface of the buffer layer over the first and second branch portions of the optical waveguide, located on and in between the first and third grooves; and first and second side electrodes, independently of the center electrode and formed on the top surface of the buffer layer adjacent to the first and third grooves, respectively. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for establishing smooth radio communication between a magnetic field communication network coordinator and an MFAN node.SOLUTION: The method for establishing smooth radio communication includes steps of: (a) transmitting a request packet for requesting one of network unification, network separation, network unification state confirmation, data transmission and group address setting; (b) receiving response packets from a node that receives the request packet; (c) selecting at least one of the response packets received in the step (b); (d) transmitting a response reception confirmation packet to a node corresponding to the response packet selected in the step (c); (e) receiving response packets retransmitted by nodes that do not receive the response reception confirmation packet of the step (d); (f) selecting at least one of the response packets received in the (e) step; and (g) transmitting response a reception confirmation packet to a nodes corresponding to the response packet selected in the step (f).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method or an operation for providing a personalized TV-Anytime metadata service. According to the present invention, there is provided a method of transmitting non-anonymous user metadata to a TV-Anytime service agent using a SOAP operation, comprising the steps of a) defining a SOAP operation which transmits user metadata and is capable of identifying transmission of non-anonymous user metadata, b) the service agent identifying a user, c) a client loading user metadata about the identified user on an element of the SOAP operation defined at step a) and transmitting the element with the user metadata to the service agent, and d) the service agent identifying the element of the SOAP operation transmitted at step c) and extracting the user metadata included in the element of the SOAP operation therefrom.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method or an operation for providing a personalized TV-Anytime metadata service. According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method of providing a table field element using a get_Data operation in the TV-Anytime metadata service. In the table field element provision method, a requested fields type element (RequestedFieldsType) required to designate a field of a metadata table is included in a query result value type in the SOAP query operation. A request message of the SOAP query operation is received. When the request message includes the requested fields type element for designating the query result value, a query result value corresponding to a designated table field is extracted from the requested fields type element included in the request message, and the query result value is transmitted using a response message of the SOAP operation.
