PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a scanning apparatus including a vertical compensation circuit. SOLUTION: A controller 300 of a scanning apparatus includes a horizontal compensation circuit 3012 and a vertical compensation circuit 3011. The horizontal compensation circuit performs horizontal compensation computations of each scan line with a shading compensation gain and offset value and the vertical compensation circuit performs vertical compensation computations on a plurality of scan lines, thereby compensating image data in the vertical-axis direction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical reading head of a scanning apparatus including a base and a sliding frame for facilitating focusing and magnification correction. SOLUTION: The optical reading head of a scanning apparatus includes a casing, a lens, the base, and the sliding frame. The base is used to support an image sensing module and movable on the casing. The sliding frame is coupled with the base for fixing and driving the lens to move along a gliding track on the casing. During the focusing operation, the lens' position is adjustable by moving the sliding frame and the optical signals are clearly imaged onto the image sensor of the imaging sensing module. During the magnification correcting operation, positions of the lens and the imaging sensing module are adjustable by moving the base and the tolerance of magnification for the optical reading head would be equal to or less than an acceptable preset value. The circuit board arranged in the main part is provided with a transceiver which transmits and receives a wireless communication signal and with a signal processor which is electrically connected to the transceiver and processes the wireless communication signal. The wireless communication signal has a first sound signal. The earphone is connected to the main part with an attach wire, receives the first sound signal and outputs it. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor acceleration system to be used for accelerating a stepping motor, from the current rotational speed to the target rotational speed. SOLUTION: Safety acceleration curve stored by a controller is specified, by shifting the characteristic curve of the stepping motor by a safety margin. The controller compares the current rotational speed with the targeted rotational speed, using the safety acceleration curve and acquires two positions corresponding to the safety acceleration curve. The controller produces actual acceleration curve, based on the two corresponding positions. A pulse generator receives the actual acceleration curve and converts it into a pulse signal. A driver receives the pulse signal and drives the stepping motor using the pulse signal. Thus, the stepping motor is accelerated, based on the safety acceleration curve, thereby avoiding the stepping motor from having "going out of speed" or "going out of step" generated. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure control method for a video capturing apparatus, which is more comfortable to users than that of the prior art and keeps the video capturing apparatus stable during exposure. SOLUTION: A first trigger signal S1 is applied in response to the start operation performed on a switch in order to open a shutter 20 and a second trigger signal S2 is applied in response to the start operation performed on the switch in order to close the shutter. An excitation mechanism of the switch is otherwise started to apply the first trigger signal to open the shutter and the second excitation mechanism of the switch is started to apply the second trigger signal S2 to close the shutter. A release button is otherwise depressed and released to drive the shutter in order to open the shutter and the release button is depressed and released to drive the shutter in order to close the shutter for the prescribed time.
