본 발명인 예쁜꼬마선충 크기별 선별장치는,
예쁜꼬마선충 크기별 선별장치에 있어서,
양측 끝단에 예쁜꼬마선충이 삽입되도록 형성되어 있는 선충삽입홀과,
상기 양측 선충삽입홀을 연결하며, 마이크로필러를 포함하고 있는 돌기부와 홈이 연속하여 형성되어 있어 예쁜꼬마선충의 이동 경로가 되는 홀부를 포함하여 구성되는 채널;로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명을 통해 원하는 크기의
C. elegans 를 선별해낼 수 있으며 크기가 작고 저렴하며 대량생산이 가능하므로 1회용 장치로 쉽게 이용할 수 있다는 효과를 제공하게 된다.
또한, 선별장치의 재료를 아가(agar)가 아닌 폴리디메틸 실록산(PDMS) 재질로 하여 장치의 견고성을 높이고 고해상도 이미지 촬영이 가능하게 하며 플라스틱 재질 기반의 제품으로 상용화할 수 있는 더 나은 효과를 제공하게 된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cell culture complex stimulation chamber and a cell culture apparatus using the same are provided to independently control shearing stress and electric field. CONSTITUTION: A cell culture complex stimulation chamber(100) comprises: a culture medium supply unit(110) having a culture medium inlet(111) and culture medium dispersion unit(112); a anti-floating plate(121) which blocks floating of culture medium; an electric plate(122) which is integrally connected with the anti-floating plate and has an electrode insertion hole(122a); a cell cover unit(120) having outlet plate with a plurality of culture medium out; and a cell suppor unit(130) having a cell settle part.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cell stimulator and culturing apparatus are provided to obtain enough cells which are need for cell analysis by stimulating cell directly and mechanically. CONSTITUTION: A cell stimulator comprises a PDMS(polymethylsiloxane film(104)), and plural microneedle(101) which is integrally formed with the PDMS(polydimethylsiloxane) film and has predetermined interval in a vertical direction. The microneedle is formed of PDMS, silicon, or PMMA. The cell stimulator further comprises a microneedle support(102) and a spacer(103) formed between the microneedle support and PDMS film. An apparatus for culturing and cell stimulation comprises: the cell stimulator; a reaction chamber which is divided into a upper portion and lower portion based on the PDMS film; a pneumatic application unit which applies air pressure to the upper area of the reaction chamber to expand the PDMS film; a cell culture device which is separately placed from the microneedle in a predetermined interval; and a circulation unit for cell culture medium.
