본 발명은 두뇌 또는 인지 기능의 증진을 위한 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 (a) 실크 단백질의 분해에 의해 생성된 실크 펩타이드의 약제학적 유효량; 및 (b) 약제학적 담체를 포함하는 두뇌 또는 인지 기능의 증진을 위한 조성물에 관한 것이다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Compositions for improving brain or cognitive function are provided, thereby effectively improving brain or cognitive function and preventing or treating brain neuronal diseases with less of side-effects. CONSTITUTION: The composition for improving brain or cognitive function comprises (a) a pharmaceutically effective amount of silk peptide produced by decomposition of silk protein; and (b) pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, wherein the silk protein is silk sericin or silk fibroin; the decomposition of silk protein is carried out by using calcium solution such as calcium chloride, acid hydrolysis, protein decomposing enzyme such as thermoase, flavourzyme, sumizyme, protamex and protin, and a combination thereof; the average molecular weight of the silk peptide is 200 to 100,000 dalton; and the brain or cognitive function is studying ability, memory ability or concentration ability.

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition with silk protein having excellent absorption properties, water vapor barrier properties, air permeability, etc. is provided which is excellent in product stability and long-term stability as well as a moisturizing effect and gives a natural, non-sticky feel during use. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition contains 0.5 to 10.0% by weight of silk protein. The silk protein is low molecular silk protein obtained by removing soluble sericin, dissolving with a neutral salt and then hydrolyzing polymeric silk protein with protease such as actinase and/or neutrase after removing the salt. The composition is formulated into toilet soap, skin lotion, lotion, cream, pearl-off pack or bathing agent.

PURPOSE: Provided is an antibiotic sanitary fabric produced of silk yarn and cellulose separated from waste milk packs, which can be used for various application, as a covering and has antibiotic activity effects. CONSTITUTION: The fabric is made of silk yarn which is prepared by purifying waste silk and cellulose which are separated from waste milk packs. The fabric is produced by carrying out a method comprising steps of (i) preparing silk yarn by purifying waste silk; (ii) preparing cellulose by treating waste milk packs; and (iii) mixing the silk yarn prepared from the step (i) and the cellulose prepared from the step (ii) to form an antibiotic sanitary fabric. The mixing ratio of cellulose to silk yarn is about 1:0.3.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing silk power peptide by enzymatic degradation of silk fibroin. The peptide has a molecular weight of 12,000-13,000, polymerization of 163 and solubility of 70% at pH 1-13, and its internal absorptivity is thus high, so as to contribute to development of functional foods or medicines. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing silk power peptide by enzymatic degradation of silk fibroin comprises the following steps of: (a) purifying silk fibroin by adding flavourzyme or a protein produced from Aspergillus oryzae and Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus thermoproteolyticus Rokko thereinto; (b) removing salt by adding calcium chloride and ethanol in the resultant and dialyzing them; and (c) obtaining powdered peptide by adding flavourzyme or a protein produced from Aspergillus oryzae and Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus thermoproteolyticus Rokko into the solution and then reacting and freeze-drying them.

본 발명은 아스퍼질루스 오리자에( Aspergillus oryzae) 및 바실루수( Bacillus) 변종으로부터 제조된 3종의 식용 효소(Flavourzyme, Sumizyme, Protamax)를 사용하여 이것에 의한 바이오 실크 세리신 펩타이드 용액 및 분말 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 기존에 많이 쓰이고 있는 세리신의 분리·추출법인 고온 고압법과 비교하였을 때 세리신의 추출효과가 우수하였다. 또한 세리신의 회수율에 있어서도 최고 30%이상의 효과를 나타내었다. 이것은 효소의 산화 방지 및 팽윤 촉진을 위해 N 2 가스를 처리 함으로써 효소 활성의 극대화를 적절히 사용한 본 발명의 독창적 방법이라 생각한다. 또한 전 아미노산 조성의 차이에 있어서는 대조인 고온 고압법으로 제조한 세리신과 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 평균 분자량의 분포는 효소처리 세리신 (MW : 8,500-12,000)이 고온 고압 처리 세리신(MW : 12,000-15,000)보다 약간 낮은 결과를 나타내었는데, 이것은 고온 고압에 의한 세리신 추출보다도 온화한 조건으로 처리되었음을 나타내며, 분자량이 작음으로 인해 보다 쉽게 용해될 수 있음을 간접적으로 시사한다고 할 수 있다. 본 발명은 효소를 이용하여 최적의 조건으로 실크 세리신 펩타이드를 추출하는 방법으로서 추출한 세리신의 용도 및 응용분야는 광범위하게 확대 될 것이고, 추출하는 방법에 있어서도 고온 고압 추출법과는 비교되는 독창적인 추출방법이다.
