본 발명은 갈색거저리( Tenebrio molitor ) 유충을 포함하는 염증성 질환 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 갈색거저리 유충을 유효성분으로 포함하는 염증성 질환 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물, 염증성 질환 예방 또는 개선용 식품 조성물 및 사료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 갈색거저리 유충은 염증 관련 인자들인 NO, iNOS, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1ß, NF-κB 의 발현을 억제하여 항염증활성을 보이고, 대식세포에 대한 독성이 없으므로, 염증성 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물, 염증성 질환의 예방 또는 개선용 식품 조성물 또는 사료용 조성물의 제조에 이용할 수 있다.

The present invention relates to a method for pre-treating Allomyrina dichotoma to use the Allomyrina dichotoma as edible or medicinal materials and edible and medicinal Allomyrina dichotoma or a larva thereof which is pretreated by the method to have an anti-inflammatory effect. The method for pre-treating edible and medicinal Allomyrina dichotoma or a larva thereof having an anti-inflammatory effect, of the present invention, is characterized by comprising: a first step of feeding Allomyrina dichotoma or a larva thereof on a sterilized feed; a second step of starving the Allomyrina dichotoma or larva thereof fed on the sterilized feed; and a third step of sterilizing the starved Allomyrina dichotoma or larva thereof. According to the present invention, in order to use Allomyrina dichotoma or a larva thereof as edible or medicinal materials, the pre-treatment conditions of Allomyrina dichotoma was established to eliminate bacteria and remove a unique odor of Allomyrina dichotoma, and Allomyrina dichotoma was confirmed as a safe material without cytotoxicity. As a result of treating macrophagocytes with Allomyrina dichotoma, it was confirmed that Allomyrina dichotoma reduced the generation of inflammation related cytokine and inflammation mediators in the macro-phagocytes, and thus Allomyrina dichotoma can be useful in the preparation of edible and medicinal Allomyrina dichotoma and as anti-inflammatory medicinal materials or health food.

The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating dementia comprising an extract of the mealworm (Tenebrio molitor), particularly to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating dementia and a food composition for preventing or alleviating demensia, comprising the extract of the mealworm as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the extract of the mealworm inhibits activity of beta-secretase (BACE1) and thus is effectively used to manufacture a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating dementia or a food composition for preventing or alleviating dementia.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing an insect-derived composition for a preparation substituting for heparin and a use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for preparing insect glycosaminoglycan capable of being used as a substituent for heparin or a composition for a preparation substituting for heparin, and a use of suppressing inflammation or enhancing immunity of the insect glycosaminoglycan or the composition for a preparation substituting for heparin, which is prepared by the said method. The preparation method of the present invention can provide useful glycosaminoglycan from insects. Furthermore and according to the preparation method of the present invention, heparin high and low molecular weight medicines, which are a kind of glycosaminoglycan, can be manufactured from various species of insects, and heparin and the likes can be produced at low costs whereby the present invention can contribute to the improvement of the national health and preserve the incomes of the insect breeding farmers.

PURPOSE: A method for preparing an insect-derived heparin substituent composition and a use thereof are provided to manufacture high molecular and low molecular drugs from various kinds of insects. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an insect-derived heparin substituent composition comprises: a step of immersing insects in an organic solvent, removing fats, filtering, and drying a residue; a step of pulverizing the dried residue; a step of treating the residue with protease and hydrolyzing proteins; a step of removing hydrolyzed proteins; a step of collecting saccharides and obtaining insect glycosaminoglycan; and a step of hydrolyzing the insect glycosaminoglycan and removing sulfate groups.
