Abstract: An LED device and a method for controlling the same are provided to minimize irregular error generation in output current caused by offset voltages of an operation amplifier or a comparator. An LED device(100) includes a controller(150), a compensator(120), a driving unit(110), and a storage(130). The controller searches gain corresponding to target current from a look-up table of the storage and outputs a current command including the gain. The compensator varies and outputs the current detected from a circuit according to the gain included in the current command.
