Abstract:
PURPOSE: A charge payment system and a method for a car are provided to conveniently pay for charges by using a credit card within a car without pushing a user's body out of the car, and to inform the user of paid details as a text message, so that the user can easily confirm paid contents. CONSTITUTION: A car payment terminal(20) stores car information, and transmits the car information for payment and credit information. A controller(200) requests the car information and the credit information to be transmitted by using DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication), and transmits the transmitted information. A provider server(300) calculates charges corresponding to the car information and the credit information, and transmits a payment approve request signal for the calculated charges. A credit card company(500) transmits a result showing whether the calculated charges are approved to the provider server(300), and performs a charge payment process while sending paid details. A mobile communication provider(600) transmits the paid details as a text message. A cellular phone(40) displays the text message.

PURPOSE: A subway broadcast equipment and a method therefor are provided to allow an undergronder to selectively listen to a wanted broadcast program in a subway, thereby enabling the undergrounder to efficiently use the time while the undergrounder uses the subway for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A receiving part(110) receives broadcast data containing subway common broadcast data and fee-based contents data from a subway broadcast server(200) providing subway broadcast service through a wireless network. A display part(130) displays image data which are extracted from the common broadcast data received at the receiving part(110). A Bluetooth part(140) transmits an audio signal extracted from the common broadcast data and the fee-based contents data received at the receiving part(110) in a Bluetooth communication scheme, and receives a fee-based contents request message and user authentication information transmitted thereto from a mobile terminal incorporating a Bluetooth chip therein. A transmitting part(150) transmits the fee-based contents request message and user authentication information received at the receiving part(110) to the subway broadcast server(200). A controlling part(120) controls the display part(130), the Bluetooth part(140), and the transmitting part(150) to broadcast the fee-based contents data and the common broadcast data received at the receiving part(110) to users through the use of the Bluetooth communication scheme.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for switching a head using the track number mapping is provided to prevent the performance deterioration of an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) even if the HDD is made by assembling the disc written in an offline STW(Servo Track Write) method. CONSTITUTION: A deviation between a reference head and other head is calculated. A mapping table having the deviation between the reference head and the other head is written/stored in a memory(S604). If a head switching operation occurs, the corresponding head is switched to a track requesting access by applying the deviation of the corresponding head to an address of the track requesting the access(S610). The deviation is obtained by referring to the mapping table stored in the memory.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method is provided to build an accurate lookup table by effectively selecting sample values of the lookup table and calculating an optimum PDM(pulse density modulation) code. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step(S300,S310) of determining the maximum value and the minimum value for the power level for building a PDM code lookup table, dividing the ranged between the maximum value and the minimum value into plural sections, and selecting the determined maximum value and the minimum value and values for discriminating the sections as a sample value; a step(S320) of selecting the PDM codes corresponding to the sample values for the selected power level; a step(S330) of measuring power for each of PDM codes from one or more mobile communication terminals by using the selected PDM codes; a step(S340 to S370) of calculating an average value of the measured values, and calculating a linear equation by using the average value; and a step(S380) of building a PDM code lookup table by calculating PDM code values for predetermined values of the power level by using the linear equation.

PURPOSE: A keypad of a portable terminal for the visually impaired is provided to realize braille points showing numbers assigned to number key buttons, respectively, and to realize the braille points by reading braille patterns only differently arrayed between the numbers, thereby enabling a user to easily recognize the braille points. CONSTITUTION: A send button(421) is used for making calls, and uses braille patterns showing the first consonant letter of Korean alphabet. The first lower row of a braille pattern of the first consonant letter is realized in the same method as number patterns. Patterns of an upper row do not overlap with the number patterns, applicable to the send button(421). An end button(423) is used for turning on/off power, and uses patterns diagonally symmetrical to the send button(421). Such the patterns do not overlap with the number patterns, applicable to a keypad(400). A specific symbol can be embossed on a key button(431), or can form a braille pattern.
