Abstract: A key pad assembly is provided to minimize optical loss and to suppress the dispersion of the eye of a user, by suppressing emission of a light toward a side of a waveguide plate except a key button. A key-pad(220) has a pad(230) surrounding the waveguide plate except a bottom plane of the waveguide plate in a box shape whose bottom is opened by side walls, and has at least one key button(221) outputting the light reflected from the reflection pattern toward the outside and be placed on the pad. A reflection layer(233) is formed on a side wall in order to reflect the light emitted from the side of the waveguide plate toward the side of the waveguide plate.
