Abstract:
PURPOSE: A display apparatus including a pattern and a method for forming a pattern in the display apparatus are provided to form a pattern for displaying the position of a pixel in a sub pixel and to perform an input process by pattern recognition. CONSTITUTION: Each sub pixel includes holes formed according to a determined pattern for determining the position of a pixel. A dent hole(40) is formed in a sub pixel(Dent) in order to indicate the standard for calculating the absolute position value of the pixel. An X coordinate hole is formed in a position for indicating the value for calculating the horizontal coordinate value of the pixel. A Y coordinate hole is formed in a position for indicating the value for calculating the vertical coordinates value of the pixel. An error detection hole is formed in a position for indicating the value for determining whether the formation points of the X and the Y coordinate hole are corrected or not.

PURPOSE: A 3D mesh compressing device and method thereof are provided to improve a compression efficiency of whole 3D graphic data by reducing probability distribution area of difference vector when estimating geometry information of 3D graphic data. CONSTITUTION: A mesh simplification unit(110) simplifies an inputted 3D mesh to generates a base mesh. A base mesh encoding unit(120) encodes the base mesh. A vertex encoding unit(130) encodes at least one vertex which is removed through the simplification by using covariance matrix. An entropy encoding unit(140) converts the encoded base mesh and the encoded vertex into a bit stream by encoding the mesh and the vertex.

A method for encoding and decoding a multi view moving image and an apparatus for the same are provided to increase compressing efficiency of a multi view moving image and stably decode encoded multi view moving image data. The first encoder(11) encodes a moving image of basic layer. The second encoder(13) encodes a moving image of an enhancement layer. An encoding picture selector(15) selects a picture performing encoding among a plurality of pictures included in each moving image.

A user interface device and an input element are provided to induce an accurate input by providing a recognizable tactile reaction when a user manipulates a user interface device. At least one input button(121A) is made of a flexible material, and the input button is protruded to be restored elastically. A sensing unit senses the pressure of the input button. A piezoelectric element(131) is attached to the central part of each input button. A transparent flexible film(132) is made of polymer material. A display panel(110) is arranged below the input button, and includes an input indication display area which overlapped with the input button.

A forklift equipped with a collision prevention unit is provided to prevent important facilities from being damaged by sensing collision with the facilities during loading or transferring of heavy weight components. A forklift includes a frame portion having a pair of guide frames(11), a lifting frame(12), a chassis(13) and wheels(14), a fork unit(20), a driving unit(30) and an operation unit(40). The forklift with a collision prevention unit comprises: a pressing unit(50), a sensing unit(60) and a control unit. The pressing unit allows an extended end portion to be engaged with a holder(22) of the fork unit. The sensing unit is mounted on an upper end surface of the lifting frame and an upper surface of the pressing unit. The sensing unit senses contact from the upper surfaces. Additionally, the control unit stops lifting of the fork unit according to a contact signal sensed from the sensing unit.

An interface apparatus and an interface method are provided to make it possible to display images through a plurality of display elements using the bi-stability characteristic of electronic paper. A display module includes a plurality of display elements(150a-150d) for displaying images using electronic paper. A control module(110) provides activation information for activating the display elements and image information for displaying the images. A decoding module(130) decodes the activation information to sequentially transmit the decoded activation information to the display elements. A graphic processing module(120) receives the image information from the control module, and sequentially transmits the image information to the display elements. The image information is displayed by the display elements activated through the activation information.

An overheating prevention device is provided to prevent fire due to overheating of a heater by blocking AC power when an inter-lock signal is occurred from a heater temperature control part using temperature sensors. An overheating prevention device includes a heater(62) for increasing temperature, a plurality of temperature sensor, a heater temperature control part, and a power supply. The temperature sensors(52,64,66) are installed to detect a temperature of the heater. The heater temperature control parts(70,72) are installed for generating an inter-lock signal, when sensing an excessive temperature from the temperature sensors than a predetermined temperature. The power supply(56) is prepared to block AC(Alternating Current) power, when occurring the inter-lock signal from the heater temperature control parts.
