Abstract:
본 발명은 객체지향 DBMS의 객체지향 커널에서 경로 인덱스를 관리하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 종래에는 객체지향 DBMS에서 경로 인덱스를 지원하는 것이 있긴 하지만 관리방법이 등록된 것이 없으므로 상기 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 발명은 객체지향 DBMS에서 경로 표현식을 사용한 질의에 대한 데이터 베이스 검색을 빠르게 하는 다중인덱스를 지원함에 있어, 다중 인덱스 관리에 필요한 정보를 카탈로그를 이용하여 관리할 때 질의 시의 검색 속도를 향상시키고, 중복 인덱스 생성을 방지할 수 있는 카탈로그 구조와 관리방법을 제언함으로써, 여러 경로 인덱스 생성 시에 동일한 어트리뷰트에 대한 중복 인덱스 생성을 방지할 수 있다.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a system and method for virtual machine placement and management, which are capable of dynamically handling the occurrence of a change in the operation of virtual machines in a cluster node system. The system for virtual machine placement and management monitors the state information of physical machines and virtual machines which are operated in a subgroup, and relocates the virtual machines operated in the subgroup according to the state information of the physical machines operated in the subgroup and a placement policy of the virtual machines.

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for managing column based data are provided to efficiently manage column based data by dividing the column based data if the file size of particular column group data subject to a partition composed of one row exceeds the partition division reference. CONSTITUTION: A method for managing column based data comprises the steps of: determining whether or not the file size of column group data exceeds the partition division reference(S310); dividing the column based data, if the file size of the column based data exceeds the partition division reference(S320); generating the divided column group data files by dividing the column group data(S330).

PURPOSE: Index information management device and method of high dimensional data are provided to ensure stability and high availability of the index information and to secure search performance by managing the index information of high dimensional data using a distributed data management method. CONSTITUTION: Data service devices(120) include user data and index information for the search of user data. A controller(110) extracts high dimensional index data from the inputted massive data. The controller allocates the index data by mapping the index data to the data service devices as the index information. The controller creates the index distribution information from the high dimensional index data.

PURPOSE: An index/search system of higher-order data and a method thereof are provided to divide higher-order data into section unit and express the data with a signature, thereby obtaining clustering effect. CONSTITUTION: A hashing operation module(220) obtains a cell. One feature vector extracted from highly dimensional data belongs to the cell. The hashing operation module generates signature for display of the cell. The hashing operation module drives hashing structure. In the hashing structure, the signature is divided in dimensional unit into different. The divided signature is stored in a plurality of indexes. A storage unit(240) stores an algorithm for inserting and searching higher-order data.
