    Abstract: A container for storing and dispensing a liquid product includes a pump operated by a reciprocable control member and associated with a pneumatic servo system. The actuation is achieved by supply of gas pressure, for example, from a reservoir of gas at a pressure of the order of 5 bars, and this is used to actuate the control member of the pump, for example a stepped piston incorporating a pressure multiplying effect. Much higher operating forces on the reciprocable control member can be achieved with this system than were possible by purely manual operation of the valve control member.

    Abstract: The bottle (1) comprises an enclosure (2), in the form of a bent tube, and a manual spray pump (3). The enclosure (2) is a bent tube of small cross-section and folded back upon itself several times. A plurality of elbow bends (8) connect, by their ends, straight tube sections (7) in order to form the folded-back tube. The bundle of straight tube sections (7) is formed in a cylinder (6) made of resin, glass or metal, for example. The section formed in the axis of the cylinder (6) connects with the pump (3). The opposite end of the bent tube emerges to the outside through an opening (7a). The spray bottle can be used in all positions. The liquid to be dispensed is retained by capillary effect and the pump (3) is always supplied. The bottle is used for the packaging and dispensing of cosmetic products such as a lotion, lacquer or perfume.
