Abstract: The colorimetric measuring head (1), for determining the internal colour of a non-opaque material (2), in particular the internal colour of human skin, includes an optical system (3) which emits light towards the material to be studied and is separated by an oblique wall (4) for an optical system (5) which receives the light which has penetrated into and been reflected by the material. The external surface (A) of the head (1), which faces the material to be studied, is continuous and adapted to the surface of the material so as to match this surface either by direct application against the said surface of the material or with an optical wetting medium. The assembly is such that the light (R) received by the detector comes from inside the material (2), whilst the light possibly reflected by the surface of the material or coming directly from the emitter cannot reach the detector because of the opaque separating wall.

Abstract: An extemporaneous mixture of two separate components (S, A) is produced by placing the first component (S) in a can (1) containing a relatively highly pressurized backfeeding capsule (5). A valve (12) is controlled according to the value of the ambient pressure relative to a reference pressure. The second component (A) is placed in the capsule (5) before its insertion into the can, and the can (1) is sufficiently pressurized with a propellant gas (4) for the valve (12) to remain closed during storage and when the capsule (5) has been activated. Said components (S, A) may be mixed by actuating the dispensing head (1) to cause a pressure drop in the can (1), which is positioned so that only propellant gas comes out of the dispensing head, whereafter the valve (12) opens, and the component (A) in the capsule comes out and mixes with the component (S) in the aerosol can.
