    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove bubbles contained in liquid by generating a negative pressure in a liquid ejection head to circulate the liquid between the liquid ejection head and a liquid tank thereby preventing leakage of liquid from a nozzle during circulation.
    SOLUTION: The head cartridge comprises a print head 2 ejecting ink 8 from a plurality of ink ejection nozzles formed in the nozzle surface (10), a conduit 4 for supplying the print head 2 with ink from an ink tank 3 storing ink being fed to a liquid chamber 9 in the print head 2, a conduit 5 for circulating ink from the print head 2 back to the ink tank 3, and a liquid feed pump 6 arranged on the ink circulation conduit 5 and circulating ink between the print head 2 and the ink tank 3. A negative pressure is generated in the print head 2 by driving the liquid feed pump 6 and ink is circulated between the print head 2 and the ink tank 3.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly bond and fix a channel forming member by simply correcting deflection and deformation of the channel forming member which forms a channel for supplying a liquid to a liquid pressure chamber.
    SOLUTION: A process of sucking and holding a channel plate 12 to a bottom face by a fixture 26 which has a means for sucking and holding the channel plate 12 by a negative pressure, a process of setting the channel plate 12 sucked and held at the bottom face of the fixture 26 to an upper face of a substrate member 10, a process of bonding and fixing the channel plate 12 set to the upper face of the substrate member 10 to a head frame 11 by an adhesive 32, and a process of removing the fixture 26 by releasing the suction and holding of the bonded and fixed channel plate 21 by the fixture 26 are carried out. The channel plate 12 is sucked and held by the negative pressure to the bottom face by the fixture 26 to trace the bottom face of the fixture 26, so that the deflection and deformation of the channel plate 12 is simply corrected. The channel plate 12 is correctly bonded and fixed to the head frame 11.
