Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an electrical insulating material excellent in heat resistance, mechanical properties, electrical properties, handleability and processability by mixing a polyester falling in a specific m.p. range with a thermoplastic elastomer and/or an amorphous polyolefin polymer. CONSTITUTION: An electrical insulating material is in the form of a film comprising a polyester having a m.p. of 230 to 280 deg.C and a thermoplastic elastomer and/or an amorphous polyolefin polymer mixed therewith at a wt. ratio of 70:30 to 98:2, and having a thickness of 1 to 500μ. It is pref. that the polyester constituting the film be mainly made of polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene naphthalate. This film can be not only singly used as an insulating material for a wide variety of uses in the whole range of electric and electronic apparatuses, such as taping for electric and electronic apparatuses, insulation in slots for mutual insulation of steps, use as a constituent material of a condenser, etc., but also used as one material of a composite material. for use in fabricated articles formed by laminating the film on cloth, paper, glass, or other inorg. insulating material.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer-coated metal laminate for cans in which impact resistance and taste characteristics are excellently compatible by extrusion laminating polyester on metal, and specifying the melting point of the polyester, the content of acetaldehyde and the minimum value of the density of the polyester after the can is formed. CONSTITUTION:Polyester A comprising a copolymer polyethylene terephthalate (melting point of 234 deg.C) containing 10mol% isophthalic acid and polyester B comprising a polyethylene terephthalate (melting point of 252 deg.C) are separately melted in vent-type twin-screw extruders. After they are laminated in two layers by feed locking, it is cast with the second layer as a rolling surface, it is so extruded to a steel plate having 0.3mm that the first layer becomes an adhesive surface, laminated and quenched. The polyester component of the obtained two-layer coated polymer has an acetaldehyde quantity of 16ppm, an intrinsic viscosity of 0.83, and an oligomer quantity of 0.70wt.%. The density of the first layer is 1.364g/cm , and 1.379g/cm after retorting.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin sheet good in resin impregnation properties, excellent in thermal dimensional stability and suitable as a material for a multilayered printed wiring board by impregnating a fiber base material with a thermoplastic resin under heating and pressure and cooling and solidifying the impregnated base material before peeling a release sheet material. CONSTITUTION:A laminate consisting of thermoplastic resin films 6a, 6b, 6c each having a thickness of 5-100mum and fiber base materials 7a, 7b, 7c each having a basis wt. of 20-100g/m is supplied to the space between the release sheet materials 8a, 8b each having a thickness of 50mum or more and tensile elastic modulus of 200kg/mm or more interposed between a pair of endless steel belts 1a, 1b. The thermoplastic resin films are softened in a preheating zone to be closely bonded to the fiber base materials and melted in a heating zone under pressure to infiltrate a thermoplastic resin into the fiber base materials. Next, the whole is cooled under pressure in a cooling zone to solidify the thermoplastic resin and the release sheet materials 8a, 8b are peeled.

This molding is oxidized by immersion in an organic peracid such as peracetic acid to obtain the title molding formed from a resin mainly consisting of structural units of formula I (wherein X is 0-2) and having a ratio of structural units of formula II (wherein Y is 1 or 2) to structural units of formula I >=0.3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a printer for a dish cloth which can perform printing which is excellent in durability by a method wherein a printing head part which sticks dye to a dish cloth, and a heating part which heats the dish cloth are provided. CONSTITUTION:Dye of a thermal ribbon 21 is temporarily stuck to a surface of a dish cloth tape 20 with a thermal head 6. At the point of time, the dye is only temporarily stuck to the surface of a dish cloth, and does not permeate to an inside of the dish cloth, and further to an inside of a fiber composing the dish cloth. Then, the printed dish cloth is heated with a heating roll 2 and pressured with a pressure roll 3. The dye diffuses and permeates to the inside of the dish cloth, and further to the inside of the fiber by heating with the heating roller and by pressuring with the pressure roller 3 and fixing of the dye is solidified.
