Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for printing characters or image with high durability on a fibrous sheet by a dry method, fabrics prepared by said printing process, and an apparatus for preparing said fabrics. The present invention relates to a process for preparing an information-bearing fibrous sheet, comprising the steps of temporarily forming an image such as characters or identification mark on a fibrous sheet by a dye; heating it to let the dye migrate into the fibrous sheet; and pressing another sheet material to the fibrous sheet with the image temporarily formed, with heat treatment for removing the excessive dye. The process of the present invention does not include the step of washing by water and allows dyeing with a sense of OA apparatuses. Therefore, it can be widely applied for clothing, and industrial and fashion fabric goods, etc. and expected to tempt the development of quite new applications.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber structure having high color development, which provides a fiber surface shape not obtained by an ordinary caustic reduction, makes the structure has a deep color and clarity by a simple method and has an excellent fastness to dyeing. SOLUTION: In this polyester-based fiber structure the structure has recessed parts satisfying conditions of (1) 20-200 recessed parts/3 μm , (2) 0.1-1 μm maximum diameter in the fiber axis direction, (3) 1-3 μm maximum diameter in the direction perpendicular to the fiber axis and (4) 0.1-0.7 μm depth on the surface of fiber.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording body and the utilizing method thereof capable of reading positively without causing the failure of reading. SOLUTION: The ink jet recorded body is given a substance that is discolored by at least stimulation from the outside. The stimulation from the outside is not limited particularly; however, a substance is preferable which is discolored by ink jet recording. For example, there are given temperature, humidity, pH, a specific composition (e.g. a coloring agent of a specific dye or pigment, a specific solvent, or the like), weight, pressure, and the like. In particular, it is preferable to discolor in response to pH.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for producing a fiber having drastically varying cross-sectional areas and shapes varying within a few centimeter in the longitudinal direction without lowering the molecular weight. CONSTITUTION: In this fiber having varying cross-sectional shapes in the longitudinal direction, a nonoverlapping area factor of >=10% appears at any cross section within 10cm length of the fiber, the cross-sectional area varies along the longitudinal direction of the fiber and the ratio of the minimum cross-sectional area to the maximum cross-sectional area is (0.1-0.9). The method for producing the fiber is to process the fiber by contacting and separating a fiber- processing material with and from a part of the fiber and use a piezoelectric element as the driving source of the fiber-processing material. This device for producing the fiber consists of the fiber-processing material which processes the fiber by contacting it with and separating it from the fiber and the piezoelectric element which is the operation-power source of the fiber-processing material.

PURPOSE:To easily produce a synthetic fiber having drastically changing cross- section shapes and areas within a few centimeters along the longitudinal direction without lowering molecular weight. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing a synthetic fiber is to spin a fiber while changing an outlet shape and its area of a spinneret of various spinning machines. A piezoelectric element is installed to the outlet of the spinneret so that the outlet shape can be deformed or the outlet area can be varied. It is able to change an actuator and the shape of the spinneret outlet. A transmitting device for transmitting a movement of the actuator can be installed.

PURPOSE:To provide a unidirectional water-permeable sheet with the property of passing water only in one direction by a method wherein the diameter of a particle of a fine particle layer is made larger than the maximum diameter of a pore of a porous sheet and a hydrogel layer is made so dense that no particle is passed therethrough. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogel layer 1, a fine particle layer 2 and a porous the sheet layer 3 are laminated successively and the diameter of a particle 5 of the fine particle layer 2 is made larger than that of a pore 6 of the porous sheet layer 3. The hydrogel layer 1 is made so dense that no particle 5 is passed to outside. In the case of a high water pressure on the side of the hydrogel layer 1, the hydrogel 4 holds the particles 5 against the pores 6 due to its flexibility to block up the pores 6. In addition to this effect, the water flowing from the initial hydrogel layer 1 to the porous sheet 3 causes the particles 5 to block up the pores 6 so as to prevent the water passage. Conversely, in the case of a high water pressure outside the porous sheet layer 3, no blocking action of the particles 5 is exerted on the pores 6 due to the flexibility of the hydrogel layer 1 and owing to the water stream in the pores 6 so as to permit the water passage.
