Abstract:
A device for gassing liquids, in particular for aerating sewage and the like, includes a lower housing element, which has a substantially round opening area and a gas inlet port, a disc-shaped upper housing element, corresponding to the opening area, for covering the opening area, the upper housing element having an upper side facing away from the lower housing element, a number of gas through-openings provided in the vicinity of a peripheral edge of the upper housing element, passing through the upper side, and a perforated gassing membrane, covering over the upper side of the upper housing element.
Abstract:
A device for sewage treatment, including: a reactor and a magnetic field generator. The reactor includes a stirrer, an aerator, an activated sludge zone, an upper end including a water inlet, a side wall including a water outlet, and a bottom including a sludge outlet. The magnetic field includes magnets and iron plates. The activated sludge zone is disposed inside the reactor. The stirrer and the aerator are disposed within the activated sludge zone. The aerator is arranged beneath the stirrer. The magnetic field generator is disposed outside the reactor. The magnets and the iron plates are symmetrically disposed on two sides of the reactor, respectively, and each of the magnets is disposed on the inner side of the corresponding iron plate. The magnets disposed on both sides of the reactor produce magnetic fields having the same direction.
Abstract:
A water quality purification system for a hybrid artificial wetland includes a first aerobic artificial wetland, an anaerobic artificial wetland, and a second aerobic artificial wetland. Here, the first aerobic artificial wetland induces a vertical flow of water, which is to be purified, and allows pollutants to be removed. The anaerobic artificial wetland induces a horizontal flow of treated water which is introduced from the first aerobic artificial wetland, and allows pollutants to be further removed. Additionally, the second aerobic artificial wetland induces a vertical flow of treated water which is introduced from the anaerobic artificial wetland, and allows air to be supplied inwardly such that the amount of dissolved oxygen of the introduced treated water increases.
Abstract:
A multi-disc air diffuser according to the present invention comprises a bolt having a vent groove formed in a longitudinal direction thereof; a plurality of discs, each of the discs having a bolt joint section to be passed through the bolt, an air room for holding the air supplied through the vent groove, and a nozzle section having a plurality of nozzles which are arranged in an end part of the air room at a regular size and intervals, wherein the lower surface of each of the discs is more than the upper surface thereof and the outer circumference surface of each of the discs is formed to be inclined; and a backflow prevention section for joining to an end part of the bolt to adhere closely the discs to one another, connecting the vent groove to an air supply pipe, and having a check valve to prevent the air flowing backward from the vent groove to the air supply pipe.

Abstract:
A micro-bubble generating device is provided which is capable of mixing or dispersing micro-bubbles into a liquid with high stability and has a simple structure that permits reduction of a cost of manufacture. A first member and a first packing are superposed on each other on one side of a gas-permeable film, while a second member and a second packing are superposed on each other on the other side of the gas-permeable film. A pressurized gas delivered via a gas inlet of the first member flows through a fluid passage of the first packing, permeates through the gas-permeable film, and is ejected as micro-bubbles into a liquid flowing through a fluid passage in the form of a narrow shallow strip-like groove provided in the second packing.
Abstract:
A diffuser tube is capable of preventing sludge from entering the tube when a diffusion operation is not performed, thereby preventing clogging of diffusion holes and inside of the tube and reducing a pressure loss during the diffusion operation. The diffuser tube is formed of an elastic tubular body, and slit cutting surfaces of a diffusion slit are slanted with respect to a radial direction of a membrane member in a slanted surface portion.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for inserting gas bubbles into a liquid, the device including a base plate (2) with a gas supply opening (3) which is connected to a gas supply device (3) and closable by a valve, wherein a valve element (12) is fixed in the operating position directly to the upper side of the base plate (2).
Abstract:
A diffuser membrane for use in a wastewater treatment application comprises an additive or coating operative to substantially reduce the ability of at least a portion of the diffuser membrane to buildup static charge. Aeration efficiency and contamination resistance are thereby improved.
Abstract:
Disclosed are apparatus and method for alternative aeration-effluent wastewater treatment using a ceramic membrane, which allows the biological treatment to be performed sufficiently in an intermittent aeration tank by combining an anaerobic tank with a plurality of intermittent aeration tanks and selectively changing an inflow path of influent water according to an operation status of the intermittent aeration tanks. The present disclosure is directed to providing an apparatus and method for alternative aeration-effluent wastewater treatment, which allows the aeration and treated water to continuously discharge through two intermittent aeration tanks by independently forming an air injection line and a treated water discharge line at a ceramic membrane provided in each intermittent aeration tank.
