Abstract: A vehicle detection system 200 comprises: a receiver 202 arranged to receive data transmissions from a vehicle 210; a camera 204 arranged to capture an image of the vehicle 210; and a processing subsystem 206 arranged to implement a trained model for detecting and/or classifying vehicles in an image.
The system 200 is arranged to operate in a first mode wherein: the camera 204 captures an image of a vehicle 210 and the receiver 202 receives a data transmission from the vehicle 210; and the processing subsystem 206 is arranged to use information resulting from the data transmission received and the image to train the model further. The system 200 is also arranged to operate in a second mode wherein: the camera 204 captures an image of a vehicle 210 and the receiver 202 does not receive a data transmission; and the processing subsystem 206 is arranged to use the image and the trained model to detect and/or classify the vehicle 210 in the image.-

Abstract: A vehicle external environment recognition apparatus to be applied to a vehicle includes one or more processors and one or more memories configured to be coupled to the one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to: calculate three-dimensional positions of respective blocks in a captured image; group the blocks to put any two or more of the blocks that have the three-dimensional positions differing from each other within a predetermined range in a group and thereby determine three-dimensional objects; identify each of a preceding vehicle of the vehicle and a sidewall on the basis of the determined three-dimensional objects; and track the preceding vehicle. Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image processing unit and a determination unit. Abstract: A moving body support system supports a moving body that recognizes a marker arranged in a predetermined area. The moving body support system estimates brightness at a position of the marker in the predetermined area without using an image captured by a camera mounted on the moving body. The moving body support system calculates a luminance correction value of an image including the marker according to the brightness at the position of the marker. The moving body support system acquires a first image including a target marker around the moving body by using the camera. The moving body support system generates a second image by correcting luminance of the first image by using the luminance correction value for the target marker. Then, the moving body support system recognizes the target marker based on the second image.

The method can further comprise generating a score based in part on the classification results and evaluating the score against one or more thresholds to determine whether the evidence package is automatically approved, is automatically rejected, or requires further review.
