PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric with woven markers capable of avoiding down time of loom and inconvenience due to the necessity of position change of optically detectable markers area in the fabric.SOLUTION: Provided is a fabric web in which markings visible by automatic cutting equipment are provided by yarns of a colour (herein referred to as a "marker colour") contrasting with the colour (herein referred to as a "majority colour") of the majority of the yarns making up the fabric. The markings are provided by marker weft yarns 16 of the marker colour, without relying upon warp yarns 18. The marker weft yarns 16 are woven with a space in the warp direction by sandwiching weft yarns 20 of said majority colour. The marker weft yarns 16 are so woven into the fabric as to be visible from one side of the fabric in predetermined marker areas of the fabric and substantially invisible in the other direction to afford, by the marker areas, optically identifiable markings which are spaced apart along the warp and weft directions B and A, and in which the marker weft yarns 16 extend through a respective marker area.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable buckle switch preventing deterioration of conductivity of a contact point caused by a foreign object infiltrating from outside or generated in its long-time use; a seat-belt buckle having the buckle switch; and a seat-belt device including these.SOLUTION: A buckle switch 106 detects whether a tongue plate 104 is connected to a buckle 102 or not. The buckle switch 106 includes: a base plate 114 provided inside the buckle 102; a fixed contact point 118 provided in the base plate 114; a slider part 116 slidably mounted on the base plate 114 to slide in response to the attaching/detaching of the tongue plate 104; and a movable contact point 120 provided in the slider part 116 to slide on the base plate 114. The base plate 114 has a groove 126a on a pathway, a region other than the fixed contact point, for the movable contact point 120 to slide. The groove 126a is brought into contact with the movable contact point 120 at an edge 127a.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover of an airbag device capable of stabilizing a development direction of the airbag.SOLUTION: A cover is provided with a protector segment 20 for protecting an airbag 10 kept in its folded state. The protector segment 20 is provided with at least a curved wall part 40 and has entirely a substantial C-shaped sectional shape. The protector segment 20 has a bent point U at the midway part in a longitudinal direction of the cover, the protector segment 20 has a gradual varying section at one side of the bent point U, the gradual varying section has a straight wall segment 44 extending from at least one part of the curved wall part 40. The gradual varying section has a part in which an arc length of the curved wall part 40 gradually increases from the bent point toward a direction away from it.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt takeup device which can fasten an occupant with a seat belt in a short time after determining that a dangerous situation exists, can reduce power consumption, and does not cause such a problem as heat generation from a motor.SOLUTION: When a vehicle speed does not exceed a preset speed, a retractor 12 puts a clutch in a disengaged state and puts a motor 12d in a suspended state. When the vehicle speed exceed the preset speed, the retractor 12 puts the clutch in a disengaged state and puts the motor 12d in the suspended state. When the vehicle speed changes from a speed not exceeding the preset speed to a speed exceeding the preset speed, the retractor 12 drives the motor 12d to cause it to rotate clockwise to engage the clutch, and then suspend the motor 12d. When the vehicle speed changes from a speed exceeding the preset speed to a speed not exceeding the preset speed, the retractor 12 drives the motor 12d to cause it to rotate counterclockwise to disengage the clutch, and then suspend the motor 12d.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the restraining structure of a harness to precisely regulate the restraining position of the harness.SOLUTION: The side airbag device 1 is provided with the harness 4 for feeding power to an inflator 3 for generating a gas deploying the side airbag 2 in collision and a cloth-made cover 5 for covering the side airbag 2 and the inflator 3. The cover 5 is formed so as to cover almost all of the side airbag 2 and the inflator 3 and is provided with a cut 5d to form a restraining piece 5c restraining the harness 4 in a part. The restraining piece 5c has a shape provided with a peak part 5cb in which the length of the side airbag 2 in the longitudinal direction is shorter than the length of a skirt part in a place apart from the skirt part 5ca nearly parallel to the longitudinal direction of the folded side airbag 2 in the short side direction of the side airbag 2 by a predetermined distance. Complicated steps such as welding is no needed and the cover and the restraining piece 5c are easily formed. The restraining place of the harness is precisely regulated.
