Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for detecting off-target sites of a programmable nuclease in a genome, and specifically, to a method for detecting off-target sites through data analysis by subjecting the genome isolated in vitro to programmable nucleases to cleave the genome and then performing whole genome sequencing or deep sequencing, and to a method for selecting on-target sites of a programmable nuclease, which minimizes the off-target effect, using this method. The Digenome-seq of the present disclosure can detect the off-target sites of a programmable nuclease on the genomic scale at a high degree of reproducibility, and thus can be used in the manufacture of programmable nucleases having high target specificity and the study thereof.

Abstract: Disclosed are an endoscopic reflection microscope using an optical fiber bundle and an image acquisition method using the same. The endoscopic reflection microscope includes an incident wave output unit configured to output an incident wave to a target object through any one optical fiber in an optical fiber bundle, a reflected wave receiver configured to receive a reflected wave output from the target object in response to the incident wave through a plurality of corresponding optical fibers in the optical fiber bundle, and an image acquirer configured to establish a reflection matrix corresponding to the reflected wave and to acquire an image in which at least one of phase retardation of the incident wave or phase retardation of the reflected wave is compensated for based on the established reflection matrix.

Abstract: Disclosed are brain connectivity marker of sustained pain and a method of diagnosing sustained pain using the same. The marker is specific for pain, and does not respond to other noxious stimuli. It can be used for monitoring a pain level and a response to treatment of chronic pain patients, which are considered clinically significant. By comparing a responsive clinical pain group and a non-responsive clinical pain group, the disclosure may be used for differential diagnosis for the cause of pain. The disclosure may be used for pre-screening of a drug clinical trial to dramatically reduce time and costs consumed in trial, and contributes to the development of pain treatment methods such as brain stimulation based on a weight pattern of the marker. The disclosure maybe used to measure a pain level in groups which have difficulty in reporting pain (a vegetative state, aphasia patients, the elderly, infants, etc).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of increasing the production efficiency of gene-edited plants, regenerated from plant protoplasts, by use of a Cas protein-guide RNA ribonucleoprotein (RNP). According to the present invention, the method of increasing the production efficiency of gene-edited plants makes it possible to efficiently produce target gene-mutated plants and to minimize the introduction of foreign DNA into plants. Thus, the present invention can be very advantageously used in a wide variety of fields, including agriculture, food and biotechnology.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-speed imaging system for measuring a target object within a sample, comprising: a light source emitting a plane wave; an angle-adjustment mirror adjusting an angle of the plane wave emitted from the light source; an optical interferometer dividing the plane wave whose angle was adjusted by the angle-adjustment mirror into a reference wave and a sample wave and forming an interference wave between the reference wave reflected from a reference mirror and the sample wave reflected from the target object; a camera module obtaining the interference wave, and an imaging controller controlling the angle-adjustment mirror to adjust the angle of the plane wave sequentially, forming a time-gated reflection matrix by using the interference waves obtained by the camera module in accordance with each angle of the plane wave, and imaging the target object based on the time-gated reflection matrix.

Abstract: The present invention relates to: a transgenic Caenorhabditis elegans in which a glutamine tRNA 5′ terminus-derived fragment (Gln 5′-tsRNA) is overexpressed; a preparation method therefor; and a method for screening for aging-associated factors by using the transgenic Caenorhabditis elegans. A transgenic Caenorhabditis elegans model provided in the present invention is an animal model in which Gln 5′-tsRNA is overexpressed such that aging is inhibited. When the model of the present invention is used, anti-aging mechanisms can be easily investigated, thereby significantly contributing to various research fields such as that of developing new anti-aging drugs and screening for age-inducing materials.

Abstract: The present invention relates to mouse antibodies that bind to angiopoietin-2 (Ang2), humanized anti-Ang2 antibodies derived therefrom, and the use thereof.
