Provided are an apparatus and a method for detecting a bit sequence, comprising the steps of selecting survivor states of a present level comprising a relatively high occurrence rate by using selection metrics for state-pairs of the calculated states based on parameters to be used to determine a probability distribution of a present receiving signal estimated in each of the states comprising a present transmission bit and a previous transmission bit; additionally removing any one of the states from the states selected in a previous level based on the latest received bit symbol included in the selected survivor states; and detecting the bit sequence based on the path to the survivor states reflecting the situation of which any one state has been additionally removed.

PURPOSE: A hub for resetting an active section of a node in a wireless body area network (WBAN), a relay node, a node and a communications method thereof are provided to reset an active section of the node based on information about the active section of the node, thereby performing communications despite nonexistence of an adjacent node having the same active time as the node. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit (1010) receives information about an active section of a candidate relay node belonging to a WBAN by passing a relay node from a hub. The receiving unit receives a signal transmitted from the candidate relay node using the information about the active section of the candidate relay node. The device searcher searches the object device for charging using the location information of each device which is placed in the space. A charge determining unit(120) determines whether a searched device is charged or not of if the object device for charging is searched.
