    Abstract: 본 발명은 전자 집속을 위한 게이트 전극을 상부 패널상에 형성함으로써 제조가 용이하며, 크로스 토크의 발생을 억제할 수 있도록 한 전계 방출 표시소자에 관한 것으로, 이를 위하여 본 발명은, 하부 패널상의 각 에미터에서 방출되는 전자를 집속하여 형광체층으로 유도하는 게이트 및 집속 전극을, 종래의 전계 방출 표시소자와는 달리, 상부 패널상에 형성함으로써, 하부 패널상에 형성되는 다수의 에미터들의 높이 균일도를 정밀하게 조절할 수 있고, 전체 표시소자의 제조를 간단하게 실현할 수 있으며, 또한 에이터에서 방출되는 전자들을 집속하는 게이트 및 집속 전극을 에미터측에 근접하도록 형성함으로써 포커싱(집속) 에러로 인해 화질이 저하되는 현상을 확실하게 방지할 수 있는 것이다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for implementing a driving device of a flat display device is provided to form a plurality of flat display devices on a pair of substrates. CONSTITUTION: A method for implementing a driving device of a flat display device includes five steps. At the first step, a plurality of device patterns are formed on an upper/lower substrates(11,12) made of a film which is easily bent. The device patterns are formed on an upper/lower substrates(11,12) in rows and columns. At the second step, a portion on which a driving device(14) is to be attached on one of the upper/lower substrates is punched. At the third step, a plurality of panels(15) are formed by combining the punched substrate with another substrate. At the forth step, the upper/lower substrates are cut into individual panel units. At the fifth step, the driving device is attached on the device attachment side which is exposed on one terminal of the individual panel units. The portion on which a driving device(14) is to be attached on one of the upper/lower substrates is punched based on the individual panel units.
