Abstract: Disclosed is a device for controlling a duty ratio of a signal. The device for controlling a duty ratio of a signal includes a clock control unit for generating a plurality of control signals for controlling a duty ratio based on an input signal; a half-period generating unit for generating first and second dividing signals which are reversed to each other by dividing a multiplied signal generated by using a delay signal generated by delaying an input signal in response to an input signal delay control signal; a comparing unit for comparing pulse widths of the first and second dividing signals based on a control signal provided from the clock control unit with each other to generate a delay control signal corresponding to the comparison result; a control voltage generating unit for outputting a delay control voltage corresponding to the delay control signal. Thus, a desired duty ratio of a signal may be set rapidly and exactly.

Abstract: Disclosed are a lock detector and a clock generator including the same. Abstract: PURPOSE: A transmitter using an interval delta-sigma modulation method and its signal generation method are provided to increase encoding efficiency or amplification efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter includes a polar converter (110), an interval delta-sigma modulator (120), a mixer (130) and a power amplifier (160). The polar converter separates an amplitude signal and a phase signal from a baseband signal. The interval delta-sigma modulator of 1-bit delta-sigma modulates or bypasses the amplitude signal according to a reference level. Abstract: PURPOSE: A quadrature-phase voltage controlled oscillator is provided to reduce area consumption by forming a structure of using one transformer without using individual inductors. CONSTITUTION: A first voltage controlled oscillator(110) is connected between a power terminal and a first bias terminal to generate first and second oscillation signals. A second voltage controlled oscillator(120) is connected between the power terminal and a second bias terminal to generate third and fourth oscillation signals having 90° phase difference in the first and second oscillation signals. The first and second voltage controlled oscillators can be formed into the same configuration. A biasing transformer(130) connects the first voltage controlled oscillator and the second voltage controlled oscillator to a ground terminal. The biasing transformer is connected between the first bias terminal and the ground terminal of the first voltage controlled oscillator. The biasing transformer is connected between the second bias terminal and the ground terminal of the second voltage controlled oscillator.
