Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recycling the scraps of magnesium alloy, by removing impurities included in magnesium alloy scrap, is provided to suppress the oxidation of molten metal by performing a recycling process with in a sealed area. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus and a method for recycling the scraps of magnesium alloy comprises a melting furnace(100), a first clean furnace(200), a second clean furnace(300) and an ingot foaming furnace(400). A tapping part(126) is formed on the upper one side of the melting furnace. One side of the melting furnace is rotated at a tilt toward a tapping part. The first clean furnace comprises a gas injector(230). The second clean furnace is formed in one side of the first clean furnace. The second clean furnace comprises a second filter.
