Abstract: PURPOSE:To visibly recognize a part of a disk cartridge from the outer side and to enable the exchange when it is unloaded to the recording and reproducing device by making a part of the disk cartridge confront with the outside and holding each cartridge. CONSTITUTION:The cartridge 305 constituting the disk cartridge 320 used both for recording and reproducing operations is provided with an opening part 323 for a magnetic head to make a part of the signal recording surface of a magneto-optical disk confront with the outside, at a main surface part of the upper side, and also provided with an opening part 322 for an optical pickup on the position confronting with the opening part 323 at a main surface part of the lower side. Covers of each opening part 323, 322 are opened by a shutter member 306 which is slid backward along one side part of the cartridge 305. As to a recessed part 311 for discriminating the magneto-optical disk, the depth from the main surface part at the lower side is different, then the housed disk is discriminated by the difference of this depth.

In this case, a mechanical chassis 11 can be raised or lowered in response to forward or reverse rotation of the motor 14. On the other hand, an operation motor rise or fall the chassis 11 to move a conveying mechanism between positions corresponding to a plurality of recording disks to select a disk cartridge.

The roller 32 is attached to one end of a first rotary base board 102 by a first shaft 101 freely rotatably and the other end is attached to a second rotary base board 104 by a second shaft 103 rotatably. Also, the base board 104 is attached to a fixing board 107 by a third shaft 105 rotatably and the disk 2 is pressed and contacted to a guide 33 via the roller 32 by fixing the base boards 102 and 104 using roller adhering springs 106 and 108.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simultaneously adjust levels of both a pilot discriminating circuit and a pilot eliminating signal generating circuit to optimum ones by adjusting a level of a pilot signal which has been detected by a pilot signal detecting circuit, and thereafter, sending said signal to the pilot discriminating circuit and the pilot eliminating signal generating circuit. CONSTITUTION:In a synchronous detection circuit of a pilot signal detecting signal, a signal which has been inputted to a pilot signal eliminating circuit 3 is brought to synchronous detection by a pilot signal of a frequency fH obtained from a carrier reproducing circuit 52, and a DC component is fetched by an LPF 53b, by which a level of the pilot signal in the input signal is detected. An output signal of this circuit 53 is brought to level adjustment by a level adjusting circuit 61, and thereafter, sent to a coefficient multiplier 62 and a level discriminator 63. Subsequently, an output of the multiplier 62 is sent to an amplitude setting circuit 55 and amplitude of the pilot eliminating signal is set. Also, the discriminator 63 discriminates, for instance, a pilot detection DC output signal obtained through the circuit 61 by a reference level from a reference voltage source 64, and discriminates whether the pilot signal exists or not. In such a way, both levels for discriminating and eliminating a pilot are obtained optimumly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify circuit composition without deteriorating performance and to lower cost by using a pseudo sine wave signal in which higher harmonics are suppressed as the signal of a second carrier frequency for synchronously detecting a second multiplex sound signal. CONSTITUTION:A sound multiplex input signal is sent to a BPF41 with a third carrier frequency as a center passing frequency, and the output signal of the BPF41 is sent to a subtracter 42 and a trap 43. The subtracter 42 subtracts the output signal of the BPF41 from the input signal, and the output signal of the subtracter 42 is sent to a second sound signal detecting circuit. Further, the output signal is multiplied by the carrier signal of the second carrier frequency from a carrier input terminal 45 in which the higher harmonics are suppressed. Moreover, the output signal from the BPF41 is sent to secondary traps 43 and 44, and a BPF for fetching a third multiplex sound signal is composed. Consequently, the converting quantity of the third multiplex sound signal to a low band side in the second sound signal detecting circuit can be minimized, and filter composition can be simplified without deteriorating the performance.
