The foot spa further includes a power supply with rechargeable batteries so the spa can be operated without plugging into an AC power supply or replacing batteries.

The invention relates to an apparatus (10) for treating patients suffering from vascular disease by means of infra-, audible- and ultrasound waves. The apparatus (10) contains a treating head (15) emitting sound waves with frequencies ranging from 1 Hz to 100 kHz and feeding them through a coupling medium (20) into a body portion (22) to be treated. Optionally, the apparatus (10) also contains a heating device (17) and a thermometer (16) for measuring the temperature of the body portion (22) to be treated. The treating head (15), the heating device (17) and the thermometer (16) are all connected to an electronics (12) equipped with a control panel (11).

A warm air massager for heating and massaging a body part includes a massage node which includes openings for directing streams of heated air to the body part being massaged. The body part is massaged by the reciprocating motion of the massage node produced by an internal massage motor. The massage motor may rotate to cause an eccentric connector to impart reciprocating motion to a shaft coupled to the massage node. The massage motor may be located within the housing, within the massage node, or there may be multiple massage motors located in each of the housing and the massage node. Intake ambient air enters the massage housing by means of a fan which withdraws ambient air from outside, directs the ambient air through a heater element and directs streams of the heated air through the massage node to the body part being massaged. Each of the fan, the heater element and the massage motor or motors may include multiple settings. The fan and massage motor are preferably separately controlled.

Disclosed is a portable cooling capsule for cooling the object part conveniently. The cooling capsule has a tubular shape body hermetically containing the coolant therein, the capsule being made of metal and plastics. Since it is a streamliner, it can be easily touched a narrow or hilly parts. The cooling capsule comprises a tubular body, whose inner part is vacant and both lateral ends are open, for containing coolant in the inner part; a cool air radiation part, which hermetically closes a first end of the body, for irradiating cool air generated from the coolant in the body; and a cap which hermetically closes a second end of the body. The cool air generated by coolant contained in the body is radiated by means of the cool air radiation part, so that convenient skin cooling is achieved. A user can carry the cooling capsule and replenish the coolant at any time.

A vaginal probe, and method of use is disclosed for stimulation of the nerves of the vagina with the purpose of testing their reaction to stimuli in the hope of defining, and treating sexual dysfunction in women. One embodiment of the invention (20) includes a shaft (22) adapted to be inserted into the genetalia of a human female. The shaft (22) includes a stop (24), presented as a thickening of the shaft (22). The probe (20) includes at least one stimulation area (26, 28) defined on a portion of the shaft (22) so that only a selected portion of the genetalia is stimulated. The shaft (22) may have sensors for measuring the reaction of the nerves to stimulation, and the stimulation areas (26, 28) may stimulate the nerves of the vagina using temperature, vibration, electricity, and/or pressure.

No water supply pipes are required under the bath-tub and all parts of the whirling system can be easily reached for cleaning. Each of the said points of the bath-tub wall and/or bottom is provided with an individual, controllable device for generating a water and/or air jet mounted on the bath-tub wall and/or bottom or incorporated into the bath-tub wall and/or bottom and capable of being supplied with driving power from a point located outside the bath-tub.
