The invention provides a foam-forming assembly, comprising: a housing having an air passage and a liquid passage, each ending in a mouth and being in communication with a dispensing passage having a dispensing opening, and a valve body which, in a rest position, covers the mouth of the liquid passage and the mouth of the air passage in a sealing manner in order to prevent a flow from the liquid passage and the air passage to the dispensing passage, and which, during dispensing, opens the mouth of the liquid passage and the mouth of the air passage in order to allow mixing of air and liquid to take place in the dispensing passage, wherein the mouth of the air passage is substantially annular, and wherein the air passage comprises a pressure balance chamber to divide the air pressure substantially equally over the substantially annular mouth.

The tank (12) comprises an actuating wall (111, 211, 311, 411) and a reaction wall (112, 212, 312, 412) which are embodied in such a way that they are approachable to each other by elastic deformation, thereby reducing the container volume and ejecting product through the dispensing orifice. A foam dispenser utilizes a deformable reservoir, a foamable fluid and air or other gas; a discharge device and an arrangement for producing foam that includes a plurality of mesh screens. When the dispenser is operated, air from inside the dispenser is mixed with the fluid to produce foam. The dispenser employs a shaped and resilient deformable seal for use in quickly recharging the container with air used in the creation of foam. The dispenser also advantageously employs an integrally molded swirl manifold to create a foam of excellent quality and consistency.

The foam-dispensing packet comprises a sealed pouch (2) having at least one flexible wall (4), the pouch comprising an interior chamber (6) and a channel (8) for dispensing foam from the interior chamber. A sponge (10) is disposed within the chamber as well as a foamable fluid (12). When intermittent pressure is applied against the pouch wall (4), thereby squeezing the sponge (10), foam is released from the opened packet.
