Abstract:
A modular enclosure, such as a shed, may include a floor constructed from one or more floor panels.. The floor panels, which may be constructed from blowmolded plastic, may include a pattern disposed on the upper surface. The floor panels may also include depressions that are formed in the lower surface and extend towards the upper surface. If desired, the depressions may be generally aligned with a portion of the pattern in the upper surface and the depressions may have a length that is less than the distance separating the upper surface and the lower surface. Advantageously, the depressions may be sized and configured to increase the strength of the floor panels. In addition, the floor panels may include a pattern disposed on the lower surface and the depressions may be at least partially disposed in the pattern. The patterns on the opposing sides of the panels may be generally offset and/or have different orientations.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A framing system has a plank member with ribs protruding therefrom and a frame member with a receptor pocket therein such that the rib of the plank member is resiliently engaged within the receptor pocket of the frame member to secure the plank member to the frame member. The plank member may also be laterally moved relative to the frame member such that the ribs slide within and engage the receptor pockets. The invention is also directed to a method for engaging the plank member with the frame member along with a method for fabricating the frame member.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sectional floor-covering capable of adjusting level, which includes a height adjusting block; a supporter coupled to the upper surface of the height adjusting block; slip floorings coupled to the upper surface of the supporter; and horizon adjusting devices mounted to the height adjusting block. The height adjusting blocks and supporters are assembled and installed at a desired position, and slip floorings are mounted and fixed on the assembled height adjusting blocks and supporters so as to install the floor to a wanted height.
Abstract:
Vertically joined flooring material comprising floor boards (1), which floor boards (1) are provided with edges (2) which are provided with a groove (2'), a lower side (5) and a decorative top surface (3). The floor boards (1) are intended to be joined by means of separate joining profiles (10). All edges (2) are provided with one groove (4) each, which grooves (4) are arranged parallel to its respective edge (2). The joining profiles (10) are provided with lips (11) arranged in pairs, which lips (11) each are intended to be received by the groove (4) of a floor board (1) guiding and fixing adjacent floor boards (1) horizontally. The joining profile (10) is provided with a central cheek section (13) which is comprised by a first and a second independently resilient cheek (13' and 13'' respectively). The cheek (13' and 13'' respectively) are provided with one tongue (14' and 14'' respectively) each whereby the tongues (14' and 14'' respectively) are intended to be received by one groove (2') each so that adjacent floor boards (1) are guided in a vertical direction.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for fixing against a support (S), in particular, a floor, a covering consisting of planks, laths, wooden panels (1) which consist in the levelling the surface to be covered, in fixing against said surface (S), side by side planks (1) leaving a space between the latter and the floor. The invention is characterised in that the spacing and fixing of the planks (1) is obtained by means of a couple of elements (3, 4) distributed over the length of said planks, elements in the form of blocks one (3) of which is fixed transversely on the plank lower surface and the second (4) on the floor, the surfaces opposite said blocks (3, 4) comprising matching zones (7) capable of being flush mounted mutually blocking said elements (3, 4).
Abstract:
A flooring system comprises a plurality of floor panels (1,1'') which are mechanically connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent edges, said floor panels comprising a tongue (10) and a groove (9), formed in one piece with the panels for mechanically locking together said one pair of adjacent edges at right angles to the principal plane of the panels, thereby forming a vertical mechanical connections (D1) between the panels and a first locking element (8) at one first edge formed in one piece with the panel and a second locking element (15), formed of a separate material connected to the panel, said first and second locking elements form a mechanical connection locking the panels to each other horizontally parallel to the principal plane and at right angles to the joint edges (D2) whereby said floor panels (1,1') can be mechanically joined by displacement of said two panels horizontally towards each other, while the first locking element (8) and the second locking element (15) are displaced first vertically away from each other and than vertically towards each other. The second locking element (15) is made of a sheet shaped material which has a higher density than the material of the first locking element. The second locking element has a first (40) and a second (41) surface and an edge portion (42) between the first (40) and second (41) surfaces, whereby the edge portion (42) forms at least a part of a second locking surface (22) which is in contact with a first locking surface (20) of the first locking element and prevents horizontal separation of the panels.
