Abstract:
A two-part building framing system comprised of a half inch ribbed channel expanded metal lath (10) and light gauge steel frame (15). The lath (10) self sets into the flanges (25) of a pre-fabricated steel frame (15) without the use of fasteners and can be used over an open-cavity without the use of a solid substrate. The metal lath (10) and steel frame (15) can be used in various building application and structures.

Abstract:
A framing system has a plank member with ribs protruding therefrom and a fra me member with a receptor pocket therein such that the rib of the plank member is resiliently engaged within the receptor pocket of the frame member to secure the plank member to the frame member. The plank member may also be laterally moved relative to the frame member such that the ribs slide within and engag e the receptor pockets. The invention is also directed to a method for engagin g the plank member with the frame member along with a method for fabricating t he frame member.
Abstract:
A process for the production of antimony trioxyde comprising the steps of: (i) reacting antimony trisulfide with iron (III) chloride to produce antimony trichloride; and (ii) hydrolyzing antimony trichloride to produce antimony trioxide. In a preferred embodiment, the process is substantially closed or near-closed loop. Antimony trioxide is a known flame retardant for use in plastics, ceramics and the like.
