Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
This power slide device comprises a wire drum (16) connected to a vehicle slide door (11) through wire cables (18, 19), a motor (14) for rotating the wire drum, a clutch mechanism (25) disposed between the motor and the wire drum, a first rotary body (85) always rotating integrally with the wire drum, a first detecting means (86) for detecting the rotation of the first rotary body, and a housing (74). The housing comprises a first space (76) having the wire drum received therein and communicating with the outside of the housing through the wire cables, and a second space (78) having the first rotary body and first detecting means received therein, with a housing body (73) disposed between the first and second spaces to separate the latter.
Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to provide an anti-jamming system which reacts quickly when a closing part comes across an obstacle in spite of the high dynamic inertia of said closing part (1), which is moved by the actuator. To this end, a brake (2; 3) acts directly or indirectly on the closing part (1) in addition to or instead of the actuator deactivating the closing part or even activating it in reverse. Said brake is only released from its braking position when the closing part (1) can move freely, rather like a self-locking device.
Abstract:
A transmission assembly (138) for a powered sliding door system (22) for an automotive vehicle (24). The transmission assembly (138) includes a rotatably input member (152), a stationary hub (198), and a planetary gearset (210) disposed within the hub (198) and operatively cooperating with the input member (152). The transmission assembly (138) also includes an electromagnetic brake (268) disposed within the hub (198) and operatively cooperating with the planetary gearset (210) to lock and unlock a gear of the planetary gearset (210). The transmission assembly (138) further includes a rotatable output member (144) operatively cooperating with the planetary gearset (210).
Abstract:
A drive mechanism assembly (14) for enabling driving and manual movement of a sliding side door (12). The assembly (14) has a track assembly (16) mounted to a vehicle body (10) at a predetermined height and a drive mechanism (18) mounted to the sliding side door (12) so as to be proximate to a door latching mechanism (19). The drive mechanism (18) has an input drive motor (22) driving an output gear assembly (24) engaging the track assembly (16) and a transmission gear assembly (23) with a sliding gear (50) which selectively couples the input drive motor (22) and an input gear assembly (23) to the output gear assembly (24) between an engaged position for driving movement or disengaged position for manual movement of the sliding side door (12). In this way, the slide ride door (12) may be moved manually between open and closed positions without having to overcome the effort required of rotating the drive motor (22).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a jam protection for a manually actuated closing part (11) for closing an opening (45), notably a door of a motor vehicle. A jam-protection contact (26) is mounted on the closing part (11) or a component (14) defining the opening (45). When an object becomes jammed between the closing part (11) and the component (14) defining the opening (45) the switching signal of said jam-protection contact (26) actuates a control device (50), which counter-acts the movement of the closing part (11).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an emergency opening device for a preferably automatic two-panel sliding door having an energy storage element embodied by a rubber belt (6). Said rubber belt (6) is on one side irremovably fixed in a support (9) and on the other side removably fixed to a holding device (7) by means of a slide (8). During normal operation of the sliding door the pretensed rubber belt (6) has no effect. The holding device (7) releases the slide (8) with the rubber belt only in an emergency, such as a fire or power failure. The slide (8) interacts with the pulley carriages (5b) of the sliding door and by means of the energy stored in the rubber belt (6) moves the sliding panels (1a, 1b) into the fully opened position. To prevent a sudden, severe impact of the slide (8) against the pulley carriage (5b) the slide (8) comprises a friction brake (82, 83, 84). This brake (82, 83, 84) is released by a control device (56) only after the slide has contacted the pulley carriage (5b) so that the entire energy stored in the rubber belt (6) is then able to act upon the pulley carriage (5b). When the emergency is over the rubber belt (6) is tensed during the first closure of the sliding door by the movement of the pulley carriage (5b) and again fixed to the holding device (7).
