본 발명은 디지털 방송 수신에 있어서 수신장치로부터 전력 절약 요청이 있으면 전력 절약 모드를 수행하기 전에 현재의 FFT 윈도 위치를 저장하는 메모리부와; 전력 사용 요청이 있으면 상기 메모리부에 저장된 이전 FFT 윈도 위치로부터 현재의 FFT 윈도 위치를 추정하고 새로운 FFT 윈도 위치와 비교하여 FFT 윈도 위치를 추정하는 알고리즘을 가지는 전력 절약 모드 제어부를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 전력 제어 장치이다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따르면 디지털 방송 수신기의 소비전력을 감소시키고, 정확성과 신뢰도를 확보할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 전력 절약 모드 처리부, 메모리부, 전력 절약 모드 제어부

본 발명은, 방송시스템 및 그 채널설정방법에 관한 것이다. 본 방송시스템의 채널설정방법은, 자동 채널설정 기능을 선택하는 단계와; 상기 자동 채널설정 기능 선택시, 복수의 채널의 방송신호를 순차적으로 수신하는 단계와; 상기 수신단계에서 수신되는 방송신호의 규격이 DMB/DVB 규격인지를 판단하고, 채널번호를 추출하는 단계와; 상기 방송신호의 규격이 DMB/DVB 규격인 경우, 추출된 채널번호를 소정의 조건에 따라 각각 분류하여 메이저(major)-마이너(minor) 채널번호 형태에 대응시켜 저장하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의하여, DMB나 DVB 서비스를 지원하는 방송시스템에서 사용자가 채널 조정을 용이하게 할 수 있도록 한다.

A digital mobile broadcast reception cartridge for a portable game machine is provided to make it possible to receive a digital mobile broadcast in the portable game machine. A decoder part(120) demultiplexes a digital broadcast stream received from a digital broadcast reception part(110) to an audio stream and a video stream. A decoder memory part(130) is comprised of a decoder execution code memory(131) for storing an execution program that controls the decoder part and a decoder data memory(132) for storing temporary data. A buffer memory part(140) is comprised of an audio buffer memory(141) for buffering a decompressed audio stream and a video buffer memory(142) for buffering a decompressed video stream. A control part(150) is comprised of a control logic(151) and an input output address decoder(152). A game machine execution code memory part(160) stores an execution code for controlling the digital broadcast reception part, the decoder part, the buffer memory part and the control part and for displaying the decompressed video stream on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) screen.

A vehicle position-based real time content information service system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a management server collecting position information of content information and the content information processed based on image information taken through a camera device in a vehicle and broadcasting content play webpage information to a plurality of vehicles by generating the information. The content information includes the image information taken through the camera device and text information or sound information mapped with the image information according to a user input signal. PURPOSE: A location reference broadcast tuning apparatus and a method thereof for selecting a broadcasting frequency based on the quality of broadcasting reception are provided to perform automatic disconnection by comparing the distance of the currently received broadcasting station with the distance of the adjacent broadcasting station. CONSTITUTION: A database(6) stores information about a broadcast station which is transmitted to each local broadcasting station. A location information receiver(3) grasps present location information. A main broadcasting receiver presently receives the selected broadcasting frequency. A sub broadcasting receiver(2) selects the broadcasting frequency. A controller extracts the broadcasting information from the database. The controller compares the broadcasting reception quality of the main broadcasting receiver with that of the sub broadcasting receiver.

CONSTITUTION: Data transmission module comprises the DBV-T/H modulation module(103) for the MPEG 2 transport stream being modulated into the coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing and transmitting with outside. The data receive module comprises the DVB-T/H demodulation module demodulating the COFDM signal received from outside into the coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing. The L2 switch module(101) receives a message broadband Ethernet data from the external Ethernet apparatus.

A device and a method for transceiving an ESG(Electronic Service Guide) in a digital video broadcasting system are provided to enable a user to receive an ESG fragment corresponding to a desired language by grouping the ESG fragments to each support language. ESG data bursts are generated by grouping ESG data supporting a plurality of languages to each ESG support language. Sessions corresponding to the ESG data bursts are set up(1401). ESG configuration data including session information, which includes IP(Internet Protocol) addresses and port numbers respectively corresponding to the total session, and ESG grouping property information, which represents that the ESG data bursts are grouped to each ESG support language, are generated(1405). The ESG configuration data is broadcasted through the session and the ESG data bursts are broadcasted through the set sessions(1407).
