Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for providing broadcasting service in a wireless communication system are provided to assign two different layer of security key according to purchase data about charged service, thereby reinforcing the security about mobile broadcasting service. CONSTITUTION: A terminal confirms a stream tag about purchased data and two layer encryption key(203). The terminal confirms a stream tag of STKM(Short Term Key Message) streams in receivecd SDP(Session Description Protocol) signal(207). If SKTM stream exists, the terminal restores traffic authentication key by decoding the STKM stream(211). The STKM stream has a stream tag which is identical to a stream tag of broadcasting server. The terminal decodes a charged channel stream by the traffic authentication key(213).

Abstract: A method for storing broadcasting contents in a portable broadcast service terminal is provided to record and store the broadcasting contents, which are transmitted according to the encryption protocol of a transmission stage such as the IPSec(IP security protocol) and SRTP(Secure real time protocol), in the level of the transmission stage even in not only a DRM(Digital Right Management) profile but also a smart card profile. If a receiving terminal is a terminal which supports a DRM profile(303), the receiving terminal reproduces a PDCF file by using a method suggested in the existing XBS standard(303,305,319). In case the key profile of an OMA BCAST Profile Information Box(obpi box) is a smart card profile, the receiving terminal connects to a server of a address included in an RightIssuerURL field by using the SEK/PEK ID of Group ID field of a Group ID box(grpi box), obtains an SEK/PEK(307), and then performs the AES-CBC decoding for 16 bytes of the Group Key field to obtain the CIEK encrypted in the SEK/PEK(309).

ES(Elementary Stream) information transmitting AIT(Application Information Table) is detected through the analyzed PMT(304). The obtained SDT information and EIT information are analyzed to grasp description information of each DMB broadcasting service and time information of each service(305). The AIT included in the ES is analyzed according to the detected ES information to detect application data information included in the corresponding DMB broadcasting service(306). Each broadcasting service is classified by service types according to the detected EPG information and a preliminarily set icon corresponding to the classified service type is granted(307). EPG information related to all DMB broadcasting channels received through the DMB terminal is outputted with the granted icon(308).
