Abstract: 움직임보상 시간축 필터링을 이용한 다시점 비디오 부호화 및 복호화 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 복수의 카메라에서 촬상된 비디오 신호에 대해 움직임보상 시간축 필터링(MCTF)을 이용하여 다시점 비디오로 부호화하는 부호화기로서, 복수의 카메라에서 촬상된 비디오 신호를 시퀀스 입력으로 하여 MCTF 분해하는 MCTF 분해수단, MCTF 분해수단에서의 저대역 영상신호을 부호화하는 제1의 부호화수단, MCTF 분해수단에서 저대역을 제외한 나머지 고대역 영상신호를 부호화하는 제2의 부호화수단 및 MCTF 분해수단에서의 움직임 벡터정보, 제1의 부호화수단에서의 양안차 벡터정보와 압축 데이터 및 제2의 부호화수단에서의 압축 데이터를 다중화하여 비트스트림을 생성하는 멀티플렉서의 구성을 마련한다.
상기와 같은 다시점 비디오 부호화 및 복호화 방법 및 장치를 이용하는 것에 의해, 종래 비디오 부호화 기법들을 이용한 동시방송 기술에 비하여 높은 부호화 효율을 얻을 수 있다는 효과가 얻어진다.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for saving power consumption of a portable photographing device are provided to turn on a display device only when it is detected that a shutter button is contacted instead of always turning on the display device even though it is set in a photographing mode. A display device(100) includes a user interface unit for photographing an object, editing an image and operating functions. A power supply unit provides power to the display device. A control unit controls turning-on/off of the display device. A sensing unit senses whether a user desires to photograph an object by a portable photographing device. When it is sensed that the user photographs the object, the display device is turned on. A power saving method selection unit is configured to save power supply of the display device. The sensing unit is prepared in a shutter button of a user sensing type.
