Abstract:
본 발명은 고속의 안정된 무선망에서의 핸드오프에 따른 지연을 최소화하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 발명에서는 현재 이동 단말기와의 접속을 가지는 접속점이 상기 이동 단말기와의 재접속을 위해 요구되는 정보를 핸드오프가 가능한 인접 접속점들로 전파하도록 한다. 그리고 인접 접속점들은 상기 이동 단말기가 이동하면 컨텍스트에 의해 상기 이동 단말기와의 재접속을 수행하도록 한다. 따라서 핸드오프 절차를 수행할 시 해당 이동 단말기에 대한 컨텍스트를 전달받기 위해 소요되는 시간을 줄일 수 있어 빠른 핸드오프가 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다.

본 발명은 무선망에서 핸드오프를 지원하기 위한 단말의 컨텍스트 정보를 프로액티브 캐싱 기법을 이용하여 단말의 인접 접속점들로 전파하는 방법 및 장치를 제안한다. 이를 위해 본 발명에서는 단말로부터의 접속 또는 재 접속 요청에 대해, 단말의 컨텍스트 정보를 하나 이상의 인접 접속점들로 전파하도록 한다. 여기서 인접 접속점들은 단말이 현재의 접속점으로부터 핸드오프하기에 적합한 접속점이다. 따라서 인접 접속점들은 단말의 핸드오프 상황이 발생하기 전에 필요한 정보들을 입수할 수 있어, 단말에 대한 빠른 핸드오프를 지원할 수 있다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A high-speed roaming service method in a wireless network is provided to enable an authentication server to propagate security key information necessary for a roaming function of a mobile terminal to adjacent access points, in order to carry out a re-access process with the mobile terminal by a security key, thereby reducing time for roaming. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal and an AP_A obtain a PTK(Pairwise Transient Key) and an RK(Roam Key) by a PMK(Pairwise Master Key) supplied from an AAA server(901). The mobile terminal obtains a next PMK to be supplied to adjacent APs by using the RK(903), and transmits the obtained next PMK to adjacent APs(905,907). If the mobile terminal moves to an AP_B, the mobile terminal and the AP_B obtain a PTK and an RK(909). A security system is set between the mobile terminal and the AP_B. The AP_B obtains a next PMK to be supplied to next adjacent APs by using the obtained RK, and transmits the obtained next PMK to the adjacent APs(913-915).
Abstract:
A wireless data communication system and method using wireless transmission frame structure for increasing communication efficiency are provided. The wireless transmission frame includes a broadcast period, a downlink period, an uplink period, an acknowledgement period and a contention period so as to perform a wireless data communication between a network access toll center (10) and a plurality of stations (12,14,16). The acknowledgement period is a period in which a plurality of stations (12,14,16) send an acknowledgement signal confirming safe receipt of data transmitted from the network access toll center (10) to the network access toll center (10). Through the acknowledgement period, a network access toll center (10) can send data to each station (12,14,16) and check whether the data is completely transmitted to each station (12,14,16) in the same frame, thereby effectively performing real-time data service. Also, the allocation of a plurality of subcarrier channels to each station minimizes the resending of data because receipt of data is confirmed when at least one of the allocated subcarrier channels is completely transmitted from each station, even if the most part of the subcarrier channels are lost in a wireless interface.

PURPOSE: A method for generating a transmission control parameter and a method for auto selective retransmission according to a characteristic of frame are provided to support effectively an AV service by reflecting a characteristic of an AV frame and controlling the transmission control parameter. CONSTITUTION: A packet transmission control parameter generator(330) receives the class information(311) and the AV frame characteristic information(312) of an AV application(310). The packet transmission control parameter generator(330) receives the wireless channel state and buffer standby period information(321) from a media access control class(320). The packet transmission control parameter generator(330) outputs a transmission control parameter(322) by using the received information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An encoding method using a double key and a wireless LAN system using the same are provided to enhance the security by using a double key including the first and the second public keys. CONSTITUTION: A main wireless terminal for performing a key distribution function is selected from wireless terminals of N number forming an ad hoc group(21). The main wireless terminal generates the first public key by using a group password(22). The main wireless terminal generates the second public key which is used for transmitting dat between wireless terminals(24-26). The main wireless terminal encodes the second public key by using the first public key and transmits the second public key to the wireless terminals of N-1 number(27). Data are encoded by the second public key and the encoded data are transmitted to the wireless terminals of N number(28).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a broadcasting message between a master and a slave in a wireless communication is provided to secure the reliability of transmission and enhance the efficiency of a master broadcasting packet assignment time by confirming whether the slave receives a broadcasting packet in the master when the broadcasting packet is transmitted from the master to the slave by wireless. CONSTITUTION: The first broadcasting packet is transmitted from a master and a slave among broadcasting packets in which broadcasting messages are divided by a packet unit(S100). If a transmission slot interval is ended, the master judges whether the salve receives the broadcasting packet transmitted from the master(S200). If the salve receives the broadcasting packet, the master transmits a next broadcasting packet to the slave in a next transmission slot interval(S600). If the next transmission slot interval is ended, the master judges whether the slave receives the next broadcasting packet in a next standby slot interval(S700). If the received broadcasting packet is different from the previous received broadcasting packet according to a sequence number value, the master judges whether the currently received broadcasting packet is a last broadcasting packet(S800). If the currently received broadcasting packet is the last broadcasting packet, the master stops the transmission of the broadcasting packet.
