Abstract: Additives having polar group and inorganic fillers were introduced in a nonpolar polyolefin resin. The resin can be directly coated without pretreating by a plazma. 30-90 wt.% of polyolefin resin, 10-70 wt.% of polyolefin rubber, 0.1-30 wt.% of olefin oligomer having a number average molecular weight of 1,000-4,000 and containing two or more hydroxy groups, 0.1-30 wt.% of ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer containing 1-40 wt.% of methyl acrylate, and 0.1-40 wt.% of inorganic fillers such as calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, barium sulfate, potassium titanate, talc were mixed and extruded to give the polyolefin resin composition.

Abstract: The method comprises graft-reacting a radical-reactive dicarboxylic acid or its acid anhydride with a polyethylene resin in a melting state in the presence of a cpd. of thiol-contg. cpd. of formula (I) and a surfactant. In the formula (I), R1 and R2 are each H, C1-18 alkyl, alkenyl, vinylbenzyl, benzyl or alkyl (C1-18) benzyl. The surfactant is selected from tetraalkylammonium bromide, tetraalkylammonium chloride, tetraalkylphosphonium bromide or tetraalkyl- phosphonium chloride.
