Abstract: 본 발명은 감쇠력 제어수단을 갖춘 차량용 쇽업소버에 관한 것으로, 외부에서 전달되는 하중에 의한 피스톤로드의 상·하 방향 이동을 회전력으로 변환하면서 오일 통로 면적을 함께 증·감함에 따라 쇽업소버의 감쇠력을 가변함에 그 목적이 있다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은, 쇽업소버가 중공 원통형의 실린더(2)내에 구비된 피스톤로드(3)의 끝단에 실린더(2)내부를 상·하압력실(3',3")로 양분하는 가변수단(10)이 구비되되, 이 가변수단(10)은 피스톤로드(3)의 끝단에 고정된 고정오르피스(11)와, 이 고정오르피스(11)에 겹쳐져 피스톤로드(3)를 따라 이동되면서 회전되어 상·하압력실(3',3")내 충진된 오일을 이동시키도록 오일통로를 형성하는 회전오르피스(12)로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A shock absorber for a vehicle with a damping force control unit is provided to vary the damping force of the shock absorber by increasing and decreasing the area of an oil passage while converting the vertical movement of a piston rod by load transmitted from the outside into rotational force. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber for a vehicle with a damping force control unit has a varying unit(10) dividing the inside of a cylinder(2) into upper and lower pressure chambers at the end of a piston rod(3) disposed in the cylinder. The varying unit comprises a fixed orifice(11) fixed to the end of the piston rod and a rotary orifice(12) overlapped with the fixed orifice. The rotary orifice forms an oil passage to move oil filled in the upper and lower pressure chambers by rotating while moving along the piston rod.
