    Abstract: PURPOSE: To attain reconstitution of a transmission line at each section even at a fault putting a communication system into pieces by providing a communication frame generating function and a compensating delay time to all communication controllers of each terminal station and providing a function relaying a communication frame.
    CONSTITUTION: The function relaying the communication frame, that is, a func tion to be a master station is provided by providing a function generating a communication frame and a compensating delay time 13 to all the communica tion controllers 14 of each terminal station. When the communication frame is generated, an identification display to identify the communication controller 14 of a station from which the said frame is generated is added to the said frame. Each station detecting that the communication frame cannot be received due to a fault such as power failure becomes respectively a tentative master station to generate the communication frame and uses switches 10∼12, 20 to set a loopback line or bypass. Thus, even when a fault at which the communica tion system is divided into pieces takes place, the reconstitution of the transmis sion line at each section is attained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form the maximum highway from which a defective station node (SN) has been removed by using a self-transmission line switching function of an SN due to the fault of a transmission line to generate a false transmission line fault and switch the selecting system of SNs after the defective SN. CONSTITUTION:A false transmission line fault generating part 23 is formed on a station node SN and turns a switch SW2 or a switch SW3 on the basis of a false transmission line fault generating command from a supervisory unit SV. When the supervisory unit SV applies the false transmission line fault generating command to a station node SN1, transmission line faults are generated in respective nodes SNi after said node SN1 and the nodes SN2-SN5 detect the faults by respective supervisory parts LNCOs and turn the ''0'' system to the ''1'' system. Since the supervisory unit SV sends data to both systems, the nodes SN3-SN5 can receive data from the supervisory unit SV through the ''1'' system.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for a node address and also to simplify the control by allowing the own node address to be written in an idle time slot when a node address check command frame from a supervising node is received at each node. CONSTITUTION:When a program control section 8 receives a node address check command from a supervisory node through a data region circuit 7, the section 8 changes over a selector 10 to the position of a data line 11 from the control section 8. When an idle time slot is searched by a data line 12 and it is found out, the own node address is written in the time slot via the data line 11, a flag is set and the time slot is brought into the busy state. The supervisory node reads sequentially the time slot of the frame where the node address is written to check the arrangement of nodes and node addresses connected to a highway. Thus, the time required for the check by the supervisory node is reduced.

The frame header FH is constituted by a synchronizing flag SYNC, a data part NT for communication between nodes, a trnsmission side address information storage part ADRS0 and a receiving side address information storage part ADRS1. The frame is formed and transmitted by a supervising station. When a transmission request is received from a station to other stations, the supervising station sets respectively a transmission side address and a receiving side address to the parts ADRS0 and ADRS1.
