    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for multiple user uplink are provided. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication is provided. The method includes transmitting a scheduling message to one or more stations. The scheduling message requests the one or more stations to transmit a station information message in response to the scheduling message. The method further includes receiving a plurality of station information messages. The station information messages indicates station information. The method further includes transmitting a media access control multi user (MAC MU) scheduling message to two or more stations. The MAC MU scheduling message is included in a payload portion of a physical layer data unit (PPDU) and indicates an uplink transmission opportunity and requests the two or more stations to concurrently transmit uplink data at a specific time.
