Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized inexpensive thermometer having high measuring accuracy by combining a high-molecular solid electrolyte containing a metal ion with an electric resistance meter. CONSTITUTION:A high-molecular solid electrolyte pref. shows a large change in its resistance value to a temp. change and a polymer of a polyether type, a polyimide type or a phosphazene type is pref. As the metal ion introduced into the high-molecular solid electrolyte, either one of Li, Na, Mg and K is pref. used. The kind and concn. of the metal ion may be selected or set so that the temp. dependence of volume resistivity becomes largest within a use temp. range to a polymer or crosslinking agent to be used. In order to enhance measuring accuracy and to improve reproducibility, for example, metal films not in contact with each other may be formed to the surface of the high- molecular solid electrolyte 6 at two or four places 2-5 and measuring load wires may be mounted to said metal films to be connected to an electric resistance meter. When the metal films are formed at four places, the electric resistance of the high-molecular solid electrolyte can be measured more accurately.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve higher flexibility, higher critical current density, and lower cost manufacture by specifying the orientation ratio of the crystal particles in a ceramics-type superconductive layer forming the outermost coating part of a superconductive fiber consisting of a core-sheath structure in which the superconductive layer sheathes a core member of the superconductive fiber. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics superconductive fiber has a cross-section of core- sheath structure. The sheath part has a thickness not less than 1mum and not more than 30mum, and the orientation ratio of crystal particles in a superconductive layer forming the outermost part is not more than 50%. In general, the superconductor constituting the sheath part may be Ln-Ba-Cu-O type (Ln denotes rare earth element), Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O type, Tl-Ba-Ca-Cu-O type, and Pb-Mo-S type ceramics superconductor. According to a method for obtaining the superconductive fiber, ceramics powder is suspended or dispersed in a solvent and the resultant liquid is applied on the base fiber constituting the core part, then it is sintered for a short time at least two times to form a strong superconductive layer whose thickness is in the range of 1-30mum on the base fiber constituting the core part.

CONSTITUTION:Yarns of 0.5-0.005-denier ultrafine fibers are formed into war yarns of paired constitution of ground warp yarns (N) and doup warp yarns (M) and the positions of the warp yarns are changed for every one and/or plural weft yarns, crossed and twisted to form leno meshes. Thereby, the aimed material is obtained.

CONSTITUTION:A microporous molding comprising polyphenylene sulfide having continuous micropores of a porosity of 10-90% and a specific surface area >=0.4m /g is formed from a polyphenylene sulfide such as poly-p-phenylene sulfide obtained by reacting, for example, an alkali sulfide with a p- dihalobenzene at a high temperature and a high pressure in a high-boiling polar solvent of an maide type such as N-methyl-pyrrolidone by a wet coagulation process. This molding is oxidized by immersion in an organic peracid such as peracetic acid to obtain the title molding formed from a resin mainly consisting of structural units of formula I (wherein X is 0-2) and having a ratio of structural units of formula II (wherein Y is 1 or 2) to structural units of formula I >=0.3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled ultrafine fiber having flexibility and high strength, by performing a composite spinning of two or more components using a mixture of a tetrafluoroethylene resin and a polymeric material as a component, drawing the spun fiber and sintering the tetrafluoroethylene resin. CONSTITUTION:Fine powder of tetrafluoroethylene resin is mixed with a polymeric substance such as cellulose, alginic acid, etc., and the obtained mixture is used as a component for a composite spinning process using a polymeric substance as another component. The fine particles of the tetrafluoroethylene resin in the spun fiber are sintered at 300-420 deg.C and the fiber is drawn at 300-360 deg.C or drawn in cold state and then drawn at the above temperature. The objective ultrafine fiber having a fineness of =0.5g/d and an elongation of >=10% can be produced by removing the substances other than the tetrafluoroethylene resin from the drawn yarn e.g. by thermal decomposition.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld a molten resin to a polypropylene resin foam to be integrated without generating deformation and surface roughening by an injection molding method. SOLUTION: After a polypropylene resin foam having a gel content of at least 50% is put into an injection molding mold and the mold was clamped, when a molten resin is injected into the mold, the injection pressure of the resin is increased at least in two steps in which the pressure is controlled to be 100 kg/cm2 or below in the first step and 500 kg/cm2 or below in the succeeding steps so that the molten resin is made to flow along the surface of the resin foam while compressing the surface. After the completion of the flow, the pressure of the molten resin is maintained to be 500 kg/cm2 or below for a given time, and the molten resin is cooled to be solidified.
